^ I hope so. I hate nuclear weapons with a passion.

But I can guarantee you that there are some people, *ahem* Muslim fundamentalists, that would use a nuclear weapon without hesitation if they were given the chance.
 
I think the best course of action is to just launch a full scale surprise of every ready missile we have towards China before they have a chance to make their move.

It accomplishes 2 things:

1) It assures our safety from them invading and making us a slave race (as Xorkoth said he would go to war against, as would I).

2) It reduces the world population by 1/6, which saves a ton of resources and vastly reduces air pollution.

Plus their culture is very collectivist, so they probably won't mind dying as long as they are convinced beforehand that it's for the benefit of everyone else. :D

Ok, so I'm going a little crazy with the nuking, good thing politicians don't use drugs like me :D

Seriously though I think our population is our problem and on a runaway, even though the birth rate per woman is going down, the population is still going way up. We can try to manage resources better but it's all kind of fickle. Population is the problem and we're likely just going to outgrow our habitat and die like all great civilizations or species before us.

Sad truth, but just go with it, maybe try to slow it down with technology; give us something to do. Really though; it's one hell of a toboggan ride. :)

Those who leave the cities and work a plot of land have a chance of surviving a while longer though.
 
i remember i did lego 9/11 once.
as in i built 2 towers, threw another lego thing at em and BAM
i used to build legos all the time in elementary school, twas real fun.

This reminds me of the world's most awesomest children's book I had called The Rainbow Goblins. I wish the internet had better images from the book to share. Google image has a few, but none of them really do justice to the psychedelic wonderment on the actual pages. Highly recommended book if yer a psychedelic parent! lol

PD also has threads for all the new empathogens, stimulants, and dissociatives hitting the market, plus the most happenin social thread. If there were a bunch of opiate RCs dropping Other Drugs would surpass us. Recall the Google Trends analysis showing how searches for research chemicals spiked at the same time as searches for mephedrone made from the UK, indicating that market, and not psychedelics, was responsible for the increased searches. Search volumes are an appropriate measure of interest in my opinion, especially if there is high consistency in the trends of indicators (specific terms we'd expect to correlate with a psychedelic renaissance due to general rises in information seeking) Recall how searches of LSD, 4-AcO-DMT, and a whole host of other psychedelics have remained essentially level. The desire for escape and diversion is increasing (helps to forget we're unemployed), not self exploration.

Here's the trend for the umbrella term "psychedelic." It's actually decreased quite a bit, even despite more people having internet access worldwide than in 2004.

Yeah, most PD traffic is based on how to get high, not genuine information seeking.

But I guess showing the initiative to actually bother registering and asking questions is more than the typical drug user would do.

Well I beaned my head. It takes me back; I haven't had a buzz cut since I was in the 4th grade. So easy to take care of and doesn't look like I'm desperately trying to cover up my impending baldness. ;)

In other news about half an hour ago I took 15mg of amphetamine and ~25-30mg of 2C-D (I just took my 150mg aliquot and divided into 6 piles). Tis starting to come on. I'm probably going to go swimming in another hour. :)
 
Ended up being far more psychedelic than stimulatory. It seems when you have issues on your mind that even small amounts of psychedelics have strong effects.

It seemed fitting that I trip on the day that I drastically changed my personal appearance. Lots of stuff going on up there.

2c-d is very forgiving.

i think also often times these experiences we bring on ourselves purposely (tripping while not being in an ideal set), knowing subconsciously what will happen.
It doesnt always feel great while going through it but in retrospect you wont regret it.
