You don't know what you're missing until you try it. I used to just avoid bottom-tier crappy coffee (e.g. Folgers), and go with mid-range stuff from the local supermarket, but the freshly-roasted beans can be so much better. A lot of the mid-range coffees, Starbucks varieties in particular, taste burnt, bitter, and too acidic for me. Ever since I had coffee on the Don Juan coffee plantation in Monteverde, Costa Rica, I've been looking for something that tastes even half as good. I finally found it...and it is so delicious!

You must understand that coffee may taste horrible, TO YOU, but to others, is actually quite pleasurable.

This. I hated coffee too until I actually started drinking it. Now its a staple in my morning routine.


I think I need a math tutor guys. I just bombed another practice test. Although I'm getting better and I've only been catching up for a few days I dont think I'm going to be prepared for calculus in the next 2 weeks.
 
I like the taste of coffee as long as I made it myself. I can't depend on someone else to make a good tasting cup of it for me.

Since we're talking about coffee, how do you guys like your coffee?

I need like 2 or 3 sugars and two creams to make it "good". (I mainly only drink it at work which is a restaurant so the sugar and cream are little individually packaged thingies)

I think I'm gonna buy a coffee maker sometime soon.
 
I love coffee. I prefer my coffee with a bit of half n half (enough to make it look like a mixed baby [black/white]), and no sugar. Sugar in coffee and tea is gross :p
 
The best coffee I've ever had was when I was living in the highlands of Chiapas, in southern Mexico. It wasn't acidic at all, it was actually pretty sweet, even black. I really can't drink coffee anymore, even the best, freshest Whole Foods coffee is too acidic for me.
 
I like my coffee with just a little creme (I prefer milk) and no sugar. Maybe one sugar but any more than that is too sweet for me. I also found that chocolate was made to go with coffee, they compliment each other sooo well. During the day I might pick up a mochachino but in the mornings Ive got to have a strong cup of regular coffee.
