Heh, wow... and as a preface, this was all the morning after a night we partied with friends and didn't get to bed until about 5am. So, I've had an interesting mix of things today, all on a whim. I had about 150-200mg of propylhexedrine and I wondered what it would be like to try snorting small bits of DIPT to combine with it, when it was starting to get edgy-feeling.
So I snorted like 8mg. It burned a bit, but then within minutes that really amazing pitch shift just starts lowering and you start to feel all warm and fuzzy. If you've ever really had a good dose of DiPT, you understand that it has some very profound effects on hearing that are impossible to describe. So I played Rock Band with my wife for a while, and every single song sounded like only a somewhat related version of itself. But the world around me is acting normal. My wife's singing and to me it sounds like a little impossibly deep, but it's 100% just how I'm perceiving it. Everything sounds from farther away. It's almost like it actually begins to partially deafen a part or some parts of the hearing mechanism (temporarily), and lets you hear the other parts of the sound. DiPT can really trip you out because it seems just like a pleasant buzz and not visual or anything but sound is very profoundly distorted and you can't dispel the illusion and hear past it no matter what.
But it is interesting to listen to some songs in the key and sort of mood that the DiPT alteration in hearing produces... it's definitely like hearing it again for the first time, but as a slightly different song. :D
Anyway, DiPT is some crazy shit. I had forgotten about that... I'm pleased with my choices.
I'll probably feel somewhat shitty tomorrow though.
