So I used to have a problem with IV heroin last year...and last night I snorted some dope. Grave mistake? Of course I want more, that's just the way it goes. I think it'll help that I literally can't afford enough of that overpriced shit to do it more than once a month haha.

Hey everyone-quick question for anyone experienced with the postal service. I had an order that arrived in the US a week ago, and it just cleared customs yesterday. Should I be sketched out by this, or is it normal? Just want to know if I have anything to worry about, or if customs is just dragging its ass. Thanks.

Depends if it's scheduled or not I suppose...I've heard of reasonable amounts of unscheduled compounds being held in customs for a while then released with no consequence...
I really don't know though man. I recommend waiting a bit to pick it up if it's going to a PO/PMB. If it's going to your residence don't sign for anything.

Don't pick it up at your door. Wait for it to be taken to the post office so you control the time of pick up. Take it home and write "Return to sender" on the box and leave it by your door or in your car for a few days on the of chance you get a visit. If possible, clean your place of substances and paper records, and clean your computer (C Cleaner is decent). Probably nothing will happen, but it's a good habit to get into in any case.

2) deliver the pack to a house you do not live in.
5-8 days is not unusual for customs on the left coast though 2-3 is typically the norm. Are there any flags on the USPS notifications?
Is it a highly illegal substance or a grey market chem? Most likely they will send a love letter to you if its not something like a kilo of smack. Then theyre doing a controlled delivery.

its not a bad idea imo but if you want to seriously protect your ass you will think about delivering to a vacant house and picking up the shit with a pair of running shoes on. Outrun them if they try to pop you.

Damn, I always figured opiates would help with sleep a ton but really I think they just give you a half-nod-sleep deal where you aren't refreshed at all in the morning. I actually still feel high and noddy a little bit minus the euphoria.

Almost everything I've ever gotten internationally has required a signature in person. I had an apartment manager that used to sign for everything if tenants weren't home, which was awesome.

that's interesting. i've only received internationally from one other country and it's always worked just like first class mail. Just a simple letter that you get and it's done.

this depends on the sender honestly. but the people I dealt with in the past (dont break any laws anymore) would send priority.

Normal letters have no problem. It's the packages I always need to sign for (even tiny amounts of legals always come in packages too big for the box). I think it's because methods that require a signature have higher success rates of delivery. Priority usually isn't an option, and since the the mail box is so small and I'm rarely home I need to sign at the post office during any kind of pick up.

^tert-butyl is a really bulky, goofy-looking functional group that's encountered mainly in sophomore-level organic chemistry courses.
You don't encounter it much outside of that context, except as a means to control reaction rates (called kinetic stabilization).
Also, you can replace the hydrogen of KOH with a t-butyl group to make a wickedly strong base called potassium tert-butoxide (increasing the size of the base's conjugate acid raises its pKa substantially).
It's just a big goofy group, IMO. :D
