I have heard of Soulseek, I don't use it anymore I tend to prefer Bittorrent now-a-days.
I like the megaupload/rapidshare etc. links because others can get the album easily too.

The thing is, soulseekers generally have the highest quality stuff... I've never gotten a "napstermix" from soulseek... and I've found some amazing new music through browsing people's collections... like uziq (mu)... but I dig Autechre and such...

Yeah I always used to use if there was an obscure single track I couldn't find on bittorrent. I tend to download .flac for use on my iriver and convert to wma lossless (also rip cd's in WMA lossless) for listening on my xbox or pc's.

LOL @ WMA lossless... FLAC is the only way to go if you don't want compression... Or ideally WAV... All of my DJ music is WAV encoded... Even as FLAC I can notice a distinct change in the highs and mids of the music...
