☮ Social ☮ PD Social: swirling into homeostasis

It's a book about our current situation as a species and how to use the place we're in to springboard off the approaching point of critical mass into a positive new part of our destiny instead of implode. The idea is to communicate and inspire this in people through stories about my life growing up as a product of American suburban decay and then transforming into who I am today.

sounds pretty cool man. any sneak peaks on a blog somewhere?
not the same things this turn around

but i do have a lovely stash !!!

and it will be a fun one <3

*slurpit*

imma eat what needz be

Word.

He also did a show called Survivorman first, which is him going into various remote places in the world (mostly North America but also the rest of the world) and surviving for 7 days. He also does all his own camera work there (and it's really great by the way), so he's truly alone. You feel like you're hanging out with him though, he's such an awesome guy. :)

love that show man. Further viewing recommendations for 2c-i comedown include The Universe, O Brother Where Art Thou, & Blade Runner ;)

Read his book! It's awesome and after reading it you will probably be able to do just what the title of the book says, Survive! The week I read it, I was outside in the woods making survival shelters and laying inside them to see what it was like. My neighbors probably thought I was off my meds that week lol

edit: never tried the 2C-D last night...tried to take a power nap so I would start out fresh and ended up waking up this morning at like 6 am lol. Oh well, maybe tonight then!

^nice pic :D

anyone got any ideas for something good to watch on the tv whilst on the tail end and comedown part of a bit of a 2C-I binge tonight?

any music or concert DVD is great for the end of trips.
I highly recomend the Grateful Dead Movie or Festival Express.

And PD social is a nice little corner of BL (though EADD is too.)

A big happy Bday to John Lennon today, he would be 70.
And a than you to google for letting me know. (all of you must go watch the trippy line drawing carttoon they have up in his memory.)

The Woodstock dvd is great if you haven't seen it. So is DIG the dvd about the two bands Brian Jonestown Maasacre and the Dandy Warhols (total buncha wusses imho lol). That's a great rock dvd. I also agree Festival Express was awesome too.

ill be giving 2c-d another try soon.
My experiences with it have all come from 1 batch and non were anything to call home about.
I just got a new batch of 2c-d and hoping that it will live up to the hype some have raised it to (MGS, Roger&Me).
Im hoping it will and that my first batch was a fluke.
Ive enjoyed every other 2c (b, c, i and e. Although i find 2c-e isnt really what i look for but it was definitely a very worthwhile experience.)
So yeh, here's too hoping 2c-d has some character.

I also havent tried 2c-p yet but i think ill wait after hearing all the comparisons to 2c-e.

Yeah I've been sitting on some 2C-P for quite a while now and just haven't found the urge and free time to coincide to do it...2C-D I am told goes very well with some sort of amphetamine but I will be trying it by itself to begin...and then probably throwing in a bit of every other 2c i have mwahahahahah

2C-E is one of my all time favorites tho. I have had such wonderful, spiritually arousing experiences that seem to release pent up energies in my body that have been locked up in muscle tension and tightness. Every time I take it recently, my muscles feel so loose and relaxed (how I imagine a perfectly relaxed body would feel) after the peak. I snort it tho, and think I end up avoiding some of the negatives that color others oral experiences.

he is soo much better than that bear dude in man vs wild. not only do i dislike the title an incredible amount, he is really full of himself. he also has an entire camera crew with him whereas survivorman only has his own camera gear. (though i highly doubt he doesnt have a gps and emergency signaling thing in case of an emergency...

46 in maine today, cloudy and great for outside work, probably gunna work on rebuilding a rock wall today and press some apple cider. i love fall.

hope everyone has a good weekend.

if you followed Bear's advice you'd die within like 5 minutes. That show is closer to a stunt man doing tricks than a survival show. I mean one episode he comes upon this steep mountain face blanketed in this loose shale rock type of stuff, dangerous enough to try to walk down, but to save time (why i dunno maybe he had an reservation at a holiday in express lol) he decided to find a long pole shaped tree branch and basically pole vault down hill to save time. He fell once I think also hahaha, but wtf if I even tried to do that I would end up face planting at a 45 degree angle and then becoming a human bobsled sliding along a giant human flesh loving cheese grater. Bear Grylls is a fake. I'd rather see him team up with the dudes from Jackass.

There are 6 episodes (new one tonight - in the US), and they're all amazing. There's one where he stays with some sea gypsies of malaysia and immerses in their culture... they have no country or anything and live on tiny boats and only ever go on land for fresh water. And it's only him, he does his own camera work, no crew at all, just him and a few small cameras.

That sounds really awesome. Thanks for the heads up I'll definitely give it a watch.

Not that it matters as it is a meaningless number... but mine did :P

And catfish, do (NSFW) stuff here (/nsfw) but obviously with [] rather than ()

oh, cool, simple! thanks V.

let's test this out then...

Would these be more or less popular than Bufo Toads as pets?

2c-e is very special.
I still have the better part of a gram i got over 5 years ago.
Ive tripped on it a few times and gave a bunch away.

My last trip on it was so incredibly intense though that i just have not chosen to revisit it.
But maybe i should with a lower dose.

I just think it shouldn't be passed off as a survival show. Did you see when he got stung in the face, and drank hot urine out of a dead snake? lol or how about when he gave himself a rank water enema at sea? lol, i agree, it's a great show, but if you listen to him you will die.

Oh and about camo...I just got 2 pairs of camo boxer shorts. I can stand outside with just them on and astound people when they are fooled into thinking I am just a pair of legs witha floating torso and head above them. I can't wait to see people's faces when they don't see my nither nethers!
