nights I can do, it's the below freezing temperatures (especially freezing fog) in the morning that I hate

Plus last time I went 'camping' we ended up in a pine forest without any tents, the wind was such that quite a few trees came down during the night, one straight through the middle of our original camp, and worst of all we were scared shitless by some badgers barking in the night (we'd never heard badgers barking before and it's a really weird sound, like a deep gutteral dog bark but is noticably not a dog...hard to describe) But anyway yeah made us ridiculously paranoid (we had hopped a few barbed wire fences to get to said forest) and all in all it was quite a creepy experience... an experience nevertheless the though.

Thankfully ill be camping in the middle of Joshua Tree Nat'l Park, so no need to worry about giant pines, and since its winter I wont have to worry about snakes! Wahhooo!!

Just looked it up and that place looks amazing... I fucking hate pine forests... their bases rot and they come down easily when it's windy, they're not indigenous to where I live, all man made in rows, and worst of all you can't climb them.

Yeah, it's fucking ridiculous, architecturally, where I live is pretty nice, however, in terms of nature and landscape it's probably the worst region in the country. Sadly where I'm from, which I'd argue is, scenery wise, one of the best areas is like a 6 hour drive At least I'm not from here...it's a nice thing to know haha.

Haven't been posting here as much lately, not sure why that is, guess it's because I've been playing a fair bit of poker the last week though so haven't been doing much else in my spare time.

Aside from playing a lot of poker lately, I think I'm slowly but surely sending my life in the right direction. I'm not sure what direction that is just yet, but none of us know, just got to keep walking down the path and see where you end up.

@Volundr, I agree, get some bud. Though try find someone who actually knows what they're selling and get a nice sativa. Wake and bake with sativa is a lovely start to the day, really gets you up and going. A hybrid/indica on the other hand.. well yeah, you said it, lethargy all day hah. Dunno how easy that'll be though, when I lived there 95% of the bud I bought was indica/hybrid, only smoked pure/extremely-dominant sativa strains a few times.

Cambridge in England. And sadly, unlike the US, when it comes to bud, 99% of dealers in England are fucking clueless (through my experience at least.) they sell what they sell and often lie (theyve probably been lied to by the grower) and sell mediocre, uninteresting bud as good strains... It's a very weird market over here, most people don't care, cause as long as they get high it's all good but idk I seem to get more pissed off than others when I feel I've been ripped off haha

You know what cambridge is like man I know people in their 20s that still have the same shitty standard of contacts from when they were 16...it's ridiculous. The only times I've had actual quality strains, that are pures, were like, one a year grows from friends of friends, wish I'd bought a lot more of their stock tbh haha


On a good note I have a couple of friends that are growing properly now, so in a month or so I should have a good period of 'quality' for once

For instance, its much better to just say something like "I don't like the way opiates make me feel, I prefer different drugs", than to say "opiates are for fucking losers"... I'm thinking about various lucrative but low-stress endeavors that I can pursue after college (that preferably employ as close to none of my scientific skills as possible :D). I think opening a small dispensary would be very enjoyable, if its possible to make enough money to live comfortably.

I wouldn't say the quality of bud is bad, I've yet to buy bad weed in Cambridge, it's the quality of the bags, the price, etc that are questionable. I mean it's a standard for an "1/8" to weigh 2.8g in Cambridge, because 1/8 used to be £20, and then £20 became 2.8g, and so the name carried over and 1/8 usually just means a 20-bag of 2.8g these days. The honest dealers, rather than shorting you 0.7, will straight up say "£20 is 2.8, if you want 1/8 that's £25" - which is fair.

Seriously though Cambridge is home of short bags haha. I once bought what I was told would be 1/4, the guy came back with my weed and it was.. wait for it.. 4.4g. Let's just say he didn't get any more customers for a long time after that.

The real problem is just that most of the regular dealers are 17 year old kids who're still at school and make their money buying from other people and shorting bags, it's ridiculous, but the plus side is that you can always find some good weed.

I always bought from the towns around Cambridge myself though, always got what you paid for and didn't tend to get messed around.

chew a tiny bit if it crunches you could have glass, was a real problem with tainted weed when I was buying from street dealers over 2 years ago now, used to know a grower but stopped smoking it.
