Anyone ever play the 2005 game Psychonauts? I spent the last three days addicted to it. Seriously psychedelic landscapes spread throughout the game, it would be awesome to play it on something.

There's one part in particular where they were definitely making references to MDMA use. You get the power to levitate on a ball and the tutorial instructor says, "There's only one rule, just keep rolling!" You're at a club, and the button you use to activate the ball is E. There were a few other, more subtle references too.
 
I've got the Psychonauts game for PC but haven't really delved into it, the initial start to the game didn't really reel me in - I guess I'm just not a huge fan of tutorial levels.

Since you guys are recommending it though I'll have to give it another go for sure. Though it's interesting you're considering playing it while tripping (unless by on something you were excluding psychedelics), because I find it near impossible to watch movies or play video games when tripping - it just becomes mundane. Maybe that's because I do too much of both when sober though haha :)
 
woop woop, a good little bit of MXE is headed my way. Can't wait to give it a go.

Once this second drug test goes through for my job (had to take a piss test since i failed for amps, even though i have a script), I shall have some cannabinoids making there way here as well. Its been over a month since I've indulged in any cannabinoids including weed, so it will be a nice treat. Just need to start working so I can bring in the cash flow.

I dunno, Katamari while tripping on DOC was pretty great. Such an aesthetic treat.
 
I love dissociatives and video games. Though doses are usually more towards the low end of course.

I used to play battle mode for mario on a SNES with bumps of 30-50mg of ketamine with my old roommate. It was a shit ton of fun.
 
I imagine Ketamine and games would be fun, though I've never tried it.

I'm about to dose 4-AcO-DMT, I've only taken it once this year, which was a positive experience, but given that prior to that I had about 10 bad trips in a row, one of which resulted in me asking someone to end my life - I'm a little apprehensive. That disaster trip was with a HUGE dose of around 75mg, so I wouldn't expect something similar from the dose I'll take tonight, where I'll probably dose 15mg, maybe 20, but still.

Edit: Dosed 20mg about 15 minutes ago. Time is already dilating severely, the headspace is starting to take over. Strange to come up so quick which only 20mg, but I did dose sublingually rather than orally this time so that might have something to do with it.

Thanks! I had a wonderful trip in the end. I was so worried it would turn out bad like some of my previous 4-AcO-DMT trips, but I followed some very good advice at the few points where things seemed to be turning bad - I just relaxed, accepted it, let all the tension in my muscles disappear, and bang, the bad thoughts were replaced with waves of uncontrollable love and euphoria.

I recently split up with my girlfriend of 2 years (on and off) and it's been troubling me a lot, but during the trip I spoke to her and we talked about everything, how much we mean to each other, and how good our friendship is. It was really healing and I feel so refreshed and alive. <3

I think today will be spent creatively. Drawing, writing some poetry, and writing some more code for the game I'm working on with a friend :)

Edit: Cheers Ben, I really think it'll work out for the better. Me and her do love each other but I think that love'll work out best for friendship rather than a relationship. No sex unfortunately, though I wouldn't be surprised some day down the line when we've finished moving on. :)
