Well, wish me luck; about to enter a detox facility and then onto rehab. Weeks of morphine and meth shots- a really nasty abscess, terrible weight loss (down from 88kgs to 67kgs) and hepatitis has left me with no other options.

I won't be on Bluelight any more. After I detox/rehab (which will probably be for at least 4-6 weeks) I'm travelling up north to live in my brother-in-laws aborginal community where I will be taking iboga and ayahuasca.

Its been lovely knowing you all. My own life has been truly enriched by you all, and I hope that existence brings you guys all the beauty, joy, peace and happiness that you all deserve. Good point to quit, that's before the plot starts getting really bad/the author stops caring. Um, what kind of shows are you into? I mean, different people have very different tastes. I can give you a basic run down of some stuff I like/think you should know about.

NSFW:

If you haven't seen them, Cowboy Bebop and Samurai Champloo (both directed by Shinichiro Watanabe) are really popular among Western/English speaking audiences and of high quality, they have good action in them, good music, and good characters. Bebop is usually a contender for best anime of all time.

If you're into thought provoking/intellectual stuff, Kino's Journey and Serial Experiments Lain are mandatory viewing.

Mushishi is an amazing show, it's difficult to justice to with words, but it's about this past Japan where there are these mostly invisible creatures called mushi which are sort of like a mix between traditional spirits and animals in their functions, the story follows this man named Ginko who who is sort of naturalist/doctor/spirit medium and he helps people with mushi related problems. It's completely episodic, but the music, atmosphere, and plotlines are really something special.

If you like space battles/sci-fi Legend of the Galactic Heroes is generally regarded as one of the greatest space operas ever made, regardless of medium. It's this 110 episode epic that gradually came out over about two decades, with a massive cast of complex characters and a compelling story. Highly recommended.

I've recommended The Tatami Galaxy on here before, really surreal art and superb written story/characters, the though show is often overlooked, but it is probably my favorite television show besides Frasier. It's about a college student who wastes his life on some idle passion, and each episode time rewinds and he has a chance to relive his first two years by joining a different club, in attempt to live meaningfully (and he's supposed to figure out/get the courage to ask out this one girl he is fated to be with).

For comedy, Golden Boy is a classic (rather raunchy adult humor mostly, and the english dub is so hammy it's brilliant), it's about this guy who pursues random part time jobs and always goes after some girl working where he is. I rather like Gintama, which has kept conistent quality over 200+ episodes, though it also has some rather emotional and serious action arcs.

Those are directed mostly at an adult audience (aside for gintama, which falls into the shounen (12-18 year old male) demographic), when we get into stuff directed at that teen crowd, Gurren Lagann is pretty popular (it's a show about robots powered by their pilot's manliness/fighting spirit, basically), though I feel slightly overrated. Outlaw Star is one of my old favorites, a really fun space adventure. I'm really not too into teen/action stuff anymore really, except in exceptional circumstances (which puts me at odds with most of the anime watching community).

For really niche stuff I'm into you may or may not like, Bartender (like the name implies, it's about a bartender who solves his customers personal problems by giving them a drink with a meaning uncannily appropriate to their situation), and House of Five Leaves (it's about a cowardly samurai who becomes involved with a gang of child kidnappers, the show is nearly 100% talking, atmosphere, and character development, so if you're into that...) are some I've seen in the past year and particularly enjoyed.

About my trip last night.. I still dont know what to think.. If I told someone some of the things I experienced Im sure they would throw me in the looneybin. I had no idea this state of being was even possible.. My soul was cleansed under the guidance of a being much older and wiser than myself.
Just looking into his / its eyes made me feel like a newborn infant crying in ecstasy and sadness at the same time - muttering "thank you, thank you" - "Im only a human what can I do" - filled with eternal gradtitude and respect.

the trip didnt stop either. I thought after the 5-meo-dtm flash was over I would land back to base in due time, but things just kept going on and on, the walls started melting again and I started to seriously get worried things were spinning out of control. So I took the easy(cowards) way out and aborted with 2mg xanax and 4mg clonazepam - and that barely touched it, I had so much energy inside me..
