Well you have to have a level 2 security card which the company pays for....you have to be approved by the government in a way but unless you have a felony your straight. The level 2 card requires a test that is easy as hell and once you work security for a year you can get your level 3 and 4 which lead to good jobs that are related to security...trust me
I put in 1 year S/O and 2 years Sgt. and got my level 4 which has helped me make solid pay while never really doing any work at all
I don't work in security now but jobs open up in this industry quick...everyone is paranoid these days so everyone needs better and better security.
