May have chance to get smoked up (I mean crystal when I say that) for free. Now there's still a chance the place that interviewed me will call me up and hire me (they said I'd know by Tuesday). Hmmm....I really want to get high dammit, but potential drug tests...(too lazy to cheat on'em). This is quite a pickle.

And after all that lightning and hail and heavy rain that hit after I got home, I'm very glad I took in the bird. I think his name will be Horatio so long as s/he is in my care. The open wound (doesn't seem to be bleeding right now?) worries me though. =( I'll haveta try to find somewhere to turn it in (that will help if possible and not just kill it).

And Never, I know the feeling. I find it very hard to get motivated to do anything even when it's really important, and the other way to look at "waiting just a little longer" was something I stole a little from Fight Club, various posts I've seen, and my own experience - you can pull the plug at any time, if you're really not afraid to do that, what else is there to be afraid of? If you ever get to that stage where even going another minute is too much - rather than give up, use that, try to accomplish your wildest dream first, no matter how scary it might be - you have the power to pull the plug, you're afraid of nothing! Annd, after you've done it, you'll probably change your mind ;) (That said, I very much understand if you think that's a ridiculous idea, I've had trouble actually putting that concept into practice myself.)

lemme know how the 6-apb is, very curious about trying it, if nothing else to help extend my break from MDMA. I got some 25i-NBOMe myself, I'll be sure to report on epicness.
 
Hey never, thats a commercial Ruthenium catalyst, probably for hydrogenation (with hydrogen or a transfer hydrogenation donor) of double bonds. The backbone is chiral, so it is likely a good enantioselective hydrogenation catalyst. Yay chemistry.
 
(already looked up ruthenium when I saw the elemental Ru which I was unfamiliar with, now reading about Ru catalyst uses...) Your words are only understandable in a vague and confused way, like reading Swedish text and seeing some cognates then trying to decipher the meaning of the whole sentence. I just think it's a cooler molecule than petrichloral even (aka 2,2,2-trichloro-1-[3-(2,2,2-trichloro-1-hydroxyethoxy)-2,2-bis[(2,2,2-trichloro-1-hydroxyethoxy)methyl]propoxy]ethanol). It could probably be the final boss of Galaga or some old shooter like that.

Edit: The bird care goes well! It's alert, eating and drinking (giving it some pedialyte and bird seed), cleaned out it's wounds again this time with saline water and stuck bandages on them as best I could (the adhesive isn't really made to stick to feathers well). From my reading I should try to immobilize the wing so it can heal properly, will try to do that later. Also still gotta see if there's wildlife rehabilitation place that'll take it so it can get superior care. So long as it doesn't get an infection it should live though.

I will not be posting on bluelight any more. Already decided to step down, but now choosing to only use it as guest for information. Peace. PD social is the only place I felt to post this in.

Haha yeah it does, but it looks so very alive, and the cyan is in there.

I always love hearing about people saving animals, it scares me how many people just don't even care about wildlife or nature at all. I would do whatever was in my power to rescue any animal that needed help, though it's actually one of my biggest fears - finding an animal or person in need and not knowing what to do, I'd be devastated if my efforts harmed them worse. You seem to really know what you're doing though, I hope the pigeon is back to full strength soon :)

Annnd, I shall report back on the APB. Regular airmail though so might take a few days to a week to arrive.

Insta-edit: Cloudy, you better at least check in on PD social once in a while! Despite not knowing you on a personal basis you're one of the names and faces I really respect around here, and one of the users I looked up to since I joined. You seem like a really nice person too and it'd suck to see you go. I nearly forgot the most important thing of all, happy birthday :D

Not bad, I'll have to listen to a few other of their songs to see if I like their sound.

I was fairly productive today, hoora~y. But f I get my hands on any decent money this month, then I am so ending my drug vacation. Maybe. Oh yeah, some people on here have good kava kava experience, right? Any recommendations on specific kinds to get? I'd like to eventually give it a try, so I can have a daily GABAergic that is not as toxic as booze, which I'd rather not get back into using more than 3x a week.
 
Peace Cloudy man, we all need BL breaks sometimes. I took a long one; can't remember how long exactly; 6 months I think, and even then I didn't come back with the same frequency. Taking your mind away from constant drug convo is healthy IMO. :)

Interesting situation in Canada; the public schools are good, no one except really rich kids in the big cities ever goes to a private school. But, catholic school is publicly funded; also a public school. A little less than half the population where I live goes to catholic school; it's just another form of public school but with some religion involved; I went to catholic school. General practice being any catholic even if they're not devout or even go to church send their kids to catholic school.

In general though the catholic school system does have a higher quality of education (has nothing to do with getting any more funding than the public system), and funny trend, even atheists get their kids baptised so they can go to catholic school. In my case however, catholic school f'ed me over in terms of getting out of high school being eligible for university. Because catholic schools are a bit higher level they grade harder and I was a lazy teenager. The uni's just look at numbers and I think if I had gone to public school those numbers would have been higher.

In my current studies; I've hit my stride :) Things are on the upswing, I'm moving next to campus Dec. 1st, so more social life on the way. I'm acing physics exams and all that, my only problem is this bioethics horseshit doesn't involve a calculator :P It's my lowest mark, some of the readings get pretty ridiculous.

Had a funny thought last night that made me think of you guys and I have to ask; You're in the middle of the desert, you haven't had fresh water in over a day, you're dry. You have a gallon jug of an aqueous liquid; but it's a 1mg/mL solution of DOM. What do you do? :D

I have some novel dissociatives on the way (MXE and 3-meo-pcp) to be specific, very curious about the latter. The former sounds enjoyable and comfy. Also some MDAI; I've been interested in it for a while but never bothered ordering it.

I have another project in mind for when break time comes; smokable morphine base extraction from poppy seeds (no papaverine or body loading junk).

PepperSecks, i havent tried 3 meo pcp yet but i can tell you that MXE is quite the cozy little drug itself.
And i know ive probably said this a bazzillion times (definately a bazzillion, im keeping track) but MXE in non tripping doses (for you id guess ~5-10mg) is the best social drug around. Better than any stims or empathogens ive had. For myself it also relieves all anxiety, social or otherwise.
I wish i could stay in that state of mind always. It keeps me so happy and positive and hopeful. But we all know thats unrealistic and it would be too expensive to use everyday as i use at least 100mg per session usually closer to 200mg depending on if im going out or staying in.

Its good stuff. As much as i dont like to pick favorites this one is at the top of my list right now.

As for MDAI, as long as its legit stuff and not the trash they were passing off as MDAI when it first came out (just after meph became illegal in Europe) then i think you'll like it. Its kind of like MDMA lite. Its character is much closer to that of MDMA than methylone is IMO (methylone is more like cocaine). Its not as a pushy in being euphoric either but when im on it laying in bed listening to good tunes i cant help but think how good i feel.

Extract seeds in pH 11-12 Ca(OH)2 sol'n; extracts morphine in the water soluble form of calcium morphenate, all the other alkaloids precip out. Filter this liquid, wash with non-polar solvent. All that should be left in the aqueous solution is calcium morphenate and Ca(OH)2. Acidify this to pH 9 (best is 9.1); best off calculating moles HCl required via -log[H] and have pH papers on hand. Too basic is stays water soluble calcium morphenate, too acidic and it's water soluble morphine HCl. When you get the pH just right morphine freebase will precip out, filter, save/dry what's on the filter. You can do a NP wash on the left over liquid to get more morphine base out of it. The morphine base scraped off the filter can then me vaporized or run with through another A/B cycle ending in aqueous, evaporate the water/HCl leaving morphine HCL (fairly pure, water soluble, IV-able).

Do some googling, that's where I got it, there's variations; you can sort of take the best aspects of each and make your own tek (best way of doing any extraction IMO).

I enjoy my oppies, such a nice state. I'm really interested in trying the gold standard of plain ol' morphine.

I still have a good amount of oxy, but I'm curious about morphine. I find it funny how they make oxy's 80mg. I've never actually swallowed one of those things, I couldn't imagine how sick I'd be. I powder and extract the things with ethanol so I can take 10mg or ~30 once I have a day or two of tolerance s the nausea isn't so bad and I can nod. I can't nod without a tolerance because I can't take a high enough dose without puking.

I had a small quantity of tramadol and that stuff was super cool, best study drug EVER, mind so clear, so calm, comfy and smart all in one. I'm going to try O-desmethyltramadol soon.

Thanks man, you're description of MXE sounds great, very much looking forward to it. You're description of MDAI is exactly what I'm looking for; an MDMA-type thing without the DA release/stimulation. I love the serotonin release but I just can't deal with the crash/week after effect when huge DA release happens along with it. It would also make for a more toned-down, mellow experience.
