We're going to be playing 3.5 Edition. We were originally going for 4 and one of us was going to DM, but we decided 3.5 would be better, and found a DM on a D&D forum. I'm a human rogue by the name of Aldous. (Yes, that is a reference)
It should be interesting, given that all of us apart from the DM and his friend, are playing D&D for the first or second time, so little/no experience. We're going to be playing every Thursday evening so it also means I actually have to know what day of the week it is from now on rofl :D
Are public schools really that bad in the states? In the UK and Europe public schools are pretty much just where everyone except the extremely rich kids go, and in most cases the quality of education is actually better in public schools since private schools are often religious and cut out some mainstream education in favour of a bigger focus on religion.
Willow, it's strange you mention that, everyone I know, myself included, seems to be down and out the over the past few days at least to some extent. I guess it's the progression into winter getting people down maybe? My advice would just be to surround yourself with bright positive things, and have a cup of tea :D
