I've been benzo free for about 6 months, but I was tapering for a while before that. Its getting better, but slowly. You?

6 months is good man, kudos to you; I know it seems like a long time. I've been benzo free since 28th december, which is almost 3 months. I do have to keep reminding myself why I shouldn't ever take them again. These pep talks are helpful, and seeing other people's success stories, because quite honestly it would be so easy to cave otherwise.

Have you been able to trip since you stopped?
 
I haven't tripped since stopping benzos, but I'm planning to soon. I'm fairly sure I'll be able to handle it, as I've taken amphetamine a few times recently and my body is able to regulate the stimulation on its own (that would have been impossible in acute withdrawal). Things are pretty much back to normal, except for the muscle problems-- spasms and such. Keep it up, though-- there is definitely light at the end of the tunnel. A life without benzos is much better, I've found. So much clearer and more genuine. :)
 
weird ~ didn't think i'd hear people talking about SPM on bluelight ~ still getting readjusted after not being here for 2 years :P
 
:) I'm glad your better, nobody should go through benzo hell.

What are you planning on tripping on if you don't mind me asking? I've actually tripped once since stopping (cold turkey 8o ) on miprocetin, a small dose, and it was intense. But manageable. And it actually really gave me a lot of ways to handle anxiety etc. that I didn't already know about. But I've been kind of bottling out of tripping since then, I know I just have to dive in head-first and break the mold. I'm thinking of kicking off with a phen. :)
 
A good old acid trip. A very worthy psychedelic indeed. One that's always guaranteed to lift your soul up, dust you down, hand you a guitar, and get your groove on!

how much were you dosing?
Even after a couple weeks of almost daily dosing there i noticed hardly any real physical symptoms. Maybe a little restless and more irritable.
This was with 10-14g a day.

I try not to use it daily anymore, and at only 5g doses when i do (ususally before work). It makes the work day smooth and easy and helps alot with anxiety and depression IME.
Every once in a while taking a half ounce is fun for a buzz. I take it with kava and sometimes valerian if i want a dopey buzz (or with a kpin ;))

But yeh, i havent felt too much physical WD symptoms when dosing daily.
My poop looks like it made entirely of kratom when i do eat it. Very fibrous and dark.:)
 
Ugh, I hate kratom. Only seems to make me sick.

Oh where, oh where, can I find some weed? I'm actually contemplating a 90-minute train ride to cop. This is how desperate I am. Aghhhh!

I honestly probably have a very sensitive GABA system as well as other neurotransmitter systems as well, I had a seizure due to codeine withdrawal on September 1st. It had been over a year since I last took valproic acid, and longer since I actually took any benzo but I've been deep into poly-drug abuse and who knows what combination caused what, Haven't taken any psychedelics since the seizure, but I'm thinking either mushrooms or DMT. The deems will probably be more of a test because it's short-lived and intense. The descriptions of it sound alot like a pleasant seizure with very high-level tryptamine visuals, but I've also heard it's pretty much impossible to have a bad trip on it once you ride out the peak, that after that you'll get the afterglow even if it was hellish and ego-shattering. This intrigues me.

*Rereads posts from other day* Haha, wow, I get pretty darn melodramatic while high, don't I?

So I had this dream last night where I had GBL diluted in some kind of fruit punch or lemonade, and it actually tasted good. You'd think I would have realized it was a dream after that, but I didn't (it was enjoyable enough after that, so I don't mind too much). I should start focusing on doing things to obtain lucidity, haven't done so in quite a while.

Also, the more I have it, the less I'm liking that green anise flavor...
