hey all!

glad to be back, it seemed like forever for the site to be back. :) guess i hang around here a lot more than i thought i did.

since its gone down, ive not done much, just got a little more tired from work, and a little more confued about my future. also, checking peoples experiences and trip reports was really missed, as i rely on these before taking any trips. theyre just so good at gving one an idea of what to expect, but also setting the mood.

not so sure about the new skin, it does look shiny and pleasing, but also a bit too loose, but really, i cant complain considering the amount of effort people have put into it. so congrats to all those involved and a big thank you!

in other news, today looks horrible weatherwise, and moodwise im also a bit low. cinema might pick me up a bit. if not, some sexy time with the gf later on. tomorrows monday so i need all the boosting i can get!

Hard to say because I've only listened twice at my buddies house (haven't been able to afford a new album yet) But I really like Tomorrows Food if I remember that right, and Surface to Air is fucking AMAZING but not officially from the new album.
 
Ahhh, i had a fun night last night, my wife and I went out and danced to funky house/tech house music at a little bar. Free cover, cheap drinks, and I was drinking my "party-starter" tea (a mix of passionflower, yerba mate, ephedra, skullcap, california poppy, and damiana... mostly yerba mate). I also met a guy there that got me some molly, which my wife and I will definitely be using in the future. Good times.

I realized that I haven't smoked any cannabis or hash in a few weeks now. I used to smoke everyday. I'm not smoking cuz my wife isn't (we smoked together a lot) cuz she might be drug tested for her job in like a month. The cravings aren't that bad.

On a unrelated note, anyone heard from Never knows best recently? Haven't heard from the kid since before the shutdown.

^ I talked to him before the shutdown, he said he was volunteering at Comic-con, he's probably just busy there and having fun (it looked like a lot of fun, I didn't actually get a ticket, just walked by it and people-watched today). My wife and I saw great costumes today: someone completely dressed up as a Na'vi from Avatar (patterned blue body paint and all... the only non-costume thing he had was plastic sandals), the black knight from Monty Python (missing an arm), Robin from batman and robin, Chun-Li from street fighter, etc.
 
So, I went to a detox clinic but was kicked out for being high (I took a gram of DXM powder prior to arriving...:\) After coming down, I spent 10 days in the detox clinic- never had withdrawal so intensely, opiate and benzo combined; but made it out, and went to a rehab centre for a week- too short most like, but I felt so lonely and isolated that it, in itself, was causing way more depression then was neccesary. It was compounding the negativity. I went to the desert with my brother inlaw, we drank ayahuasca for 3-4 days before travelling further north. I took a small dose of ibogaine which was actually one of the most frightening experiences of my life....Anyhow, I'm back in Victoria, though I'm going up to north australia soon, living in a resort (off-season) that my brother in-laws brother runs (he's hooked up some work for me there...) then HOPEFULLY towards the end of this year I'm going to head up to indonesia and throuhg asia eventually to india....After that, to Europe...

Been stright for about a month and no cravings as such...
