Sounds like your friend is still kind of new to tripping.

So tomorrow my friend and I are gonna trip, he hasn't done a pure 4-sub since I had metocin a few years ago.
Unfortunately my psych tolerence is very high right now...
I'm thinking of going with ethocin for our hike, what do you think? I feel like 4-AcO-DMT might be too much for someone with less than 10 trips under their belt, along with being in public.
What do you guys think? I'm probably going to be in the guide capacity this go around.
Had a great trip on LSD yesterday, joined by my friend/housemate who took 2C-D for his first time. It's been a pretty long time since I did LSD.
It was very therapeutic for me, I was able to let go of a lot of stuff on an intuitive level and get past it during meditation - felt nothing but gratitude for a while.

I am hoping to try ayahuasca for the first time then.

had a gram of MXE, went through it mostly doing doses of 50mg-80mg-ish. decided to polish off the last 300mg last night. holy fuck was it awesome. achieved that golden moment where it felt like past, present, and future were all now. felt like i was the size of the universe, and the room i was in was the size of a grain of sand. my only regret is it felt like it went by too fast.
@Peppersocks - I hear you about the opiates and hospitalization after nearly dieing from a serious accident some years ago I was still craving opiates for longer than I needed them to manage the pain whilst recovering. Ever since then I've pretty harsh with myself on opiates and I refrain from taking anything for pain unless I can't function regardless.
I've been looking into getting a gun license for sports shooting and doomsday prepping, I used to shoot a bit with my old man which was always good times. Would you say a lever action 22 with short scope and glock 9mm be a fairly good starting point as I'm on a budget.
I know a lot of people have been helped by SSRIs, but I think that they're a class of drugs that has to be prescribed pretty cautiously, from what I know about them. And that is definitely not the current medical trend.
thats dumb. if you get high with any regularity then stoned-you is a big aspect of your personality. modern psychiatry for the lose. give me leo zeff plz.
A question for the mods (a fine job you do I might add) Do you see it as a demanding job or a hobby/ pastime? Also why do you think you were chosen from all that applied? It's obvious you guys know your stuff but was there something specific that got you the role? Just wondered is all because you guys are so knowledgeable it's scary at times, but I feel in safe hands with your responses so, happy days indeed. Thanks guys, keep up the great work keeping folk safe.![]()
Going to class on benzos, and coming away from it with absolutely no meaningful memory of the topics discussed nor the homework assignment, also apparently having been too retarded to write any of it down: fail.![]()
Was just reading about Alan Watts and his experiences with psychedelics and this quote stood out for me "When you get the message, hang up the phone." It seems that a lot of trips I have I am getting the same message but presented in a slightly different way, maybe it's better to just hang up the phone and take the message into the real world rather than searching for more of a message.
You cannot stay on the summit forever;
you have to come down again.
So why bother in the first place? Just this:
What is above knows what is below,
but what is below does not know what is above.
One climbs, one sees.
One descends, one sees no longer,
but one has seen!
There is an art of conducting oneself in the lower regions by the memory of what one saw higher up.
When one can no longer see, one can at least still know.

I have been contimplating going to culinary school since I love to cook and am pretty good at it too. It is also a very competative field but I am sure I could do it. I just have to get off my ass and go for it because the longer I spend sitting around doing nothing the harder it is to get back into the swing of things. I am still kinda bummed my previous goal of getting a degree in pharmacology and toxicology didn't work out especially since I really wanted it and was very close to getting into the program. I had all my general and math classes done plus have of my science pre-reqs before I had to leave school but oh well the past is the past I just have to concintrate on the future now.Ah, O.K. You've clarified things well. There's nothing wrong with wanting to be happy and healthy, of course, but you can't force it. The best way to recover is to let the gravity of good vibes pull you back, while you busy yourself with other more attainable goals, like pursuing those ideas you mentioned in the second paragraph, whatever they may be.
Yea skyrim doesn't need nearly as much power as you would think. Even back when I had just a gts 240 video card it still looked amazing and ran nice and smooth maxed out. Now I have a gtx 560 ti. I have sunk so many hours into skyrim and made several characters . The elder scrolls games are truly amazing. I love how they set it up so you can make your own story and adventure. I really want to try and get into daggerfall. It's really old but still good and has allot more depth to it. I tried it out for a little bit and liked it but that was back when I first got skyrim so I ended up putting it aside and forgetting about it.I just discovered Skyrim runs smoothly on my laptop.I never even bothered installing it until now, because I was almost certain it would be too slow. I felt like it just barely ran Oblivion at a nice framerate and resolution, but strangely, Skyrim seems to run virtually just as well. I guess it makes sense, because they had to design the graphics engine with XBox 360 in mind, which is a really old system at this point.
I don't even know how many hours I spent playing that game today. IMO it is the epitome of video RPGs, at present.
