After such a beautiful trip, I'm either convinced it was LSD after all, or whatever I had (I narrowed down the two only other possibilities to 5-MeO-AMT or DOC due to the effects profile and total duration being ~12-14 hours. 5-MeO-AMT is unlikely due to lack of nausea, so if anything else, it would have been DOC) was bloody fantastic :D
Oh DOC can be lovely once you get on the plateau, but if your trip lasted 14 hours, I doubt it would be any DOx. IME that is LSD territory; I wouldn't be 'tripping' past 10, but might have a hard time sleeping for a few more hours.
As for things that would fit on blotter I think that's the most likely suspect. You'd know if it was 5-meo-AMT, and (not sure) but I think that's well outside the NBOMe duration range.
To narrow it down further, as I already said, I'm getting some DOC to try today. So I think I'll be able to finally say with some confidence if it was LSD I took in the end, and then doubly confirm when I get some LSD from an experienced friend in the near future
DOC is great.. once the come-up is over. It has a really rough come-up, which is rewarded by a really pleasant calm effect from 6-8 hours on and lasts until 20+. Drugs that last that long are hard to do though; to be tripping in normal sleep cycle phase means taking it first thing in the morning. I don't think taking a 20 hour trip after you've been up all-day would be easy on the brain.
This is pretty typical, applecore. I experienced the same thing when I first got to college, its just a different level where a lot more is expected of you (I feel like every professor acts like their class is the only one you're taking, and you have 4 or 5 at a time like that). But just treat it like a marathon, rather than a sprint, and you'll do fine.
To be honest, second year in a real uni (did college), and I'm still finding it really F'ing hard. It really is a marathon, the work never ends, once one assignment's done, you've got another 4 waiting for you, or mid-term in 2 days, etc. It's a relentless onslaught of work, sometimes I feel like Dory from Finding Nemo; 'Just keep swimming, Just keep swimming.."
Although, fall break starts next week and my brain won't know where I am on Saturday
morning night. Then studying for mid-terms and some assignments over the week; just no lectures.
Constant onslaught with tiny breaks, use them sleeping.
I'm guessing it's less popular than it should be only because of legality issues. I really want to try 2C-B, and hope I come across some soon.
There used to be sources who kept poor records that had it, on e-mail only though. "Oh; woops, that wasn't iodine, that was bromine, oh well, I think we might be able to find someone who'll still buy it."

Basic method is to burrow through China based companies and hope it's not a scam. Just remember, if it's posted publicly; it's a scam.
It used to be a rarity in E pills, but unless someone posts reagent tests to green that aren't dealer reports, if it's a 2C, it's highly unlikely to be 2C-B.
Wow... hm. I didn't know chemistry was so cool. (Cool is synonymous with dangerous, didn't you know?) :D
Yar, my favorite and hardest subject. I'll never forget the methanol explosion in my parent's kitchen that almost blew off the oven door and the mess the fire extinguisher made (see PD social archives or Mescaline extraction thread), ah, memories.
Yeah, chemistry (well, at least the kind I do -- organic synthesis on a large scale) is very dangerous. I run a lot of distillations, flash chromatography columns run at ~20psi, handle a lot of pyrophoric reagents, etc. I'm a lowly technician so I do all the crap jobs that nobody else wants to do, lol
Huh? What you up to man, I thought you were going into final year?
I know that lowly technician job far too well; it formed one of the basic reasons that made me upgrade to uni even though it was an okay paying job with benefits and a nice boss. Something about carrying out orders that are of no interest to you, and not being able to investigate your own ideas, just doesn't sit right.
