Nah. I've seen snow here and there, like on family vacations, but never lived in it.

I was born in the mountains (well I moved down here when I was like four but I'm still counting it) and I don't like snow at all. Heavy snow (unless I'm going somewhere for the purpose of being in snow) is very annoying, You can't go anywhere, you can't do anything, and it's the cold is like violence. Do you know how many old people get heart attacks shoveling that shit? That's how my great grandfather died.

insufflated 2C-E + weed = mind movies pour moi

Great combo there, hope you enjoyed your crazy fun times.

i can never produce mind movies with any regularity, but the best mind movies i've ever had was on DXM + Weed + Temazepam + a bit of Alcohol.

I maintain that dissociative + cannabinoid + GABAergic is among the best drug combos.

So anyway, I went to church today. Good stuff. %)

Church eh, (snicker) yeah right.

Sometimes I'm tempted to go to ashram, or temple, but I fight it god(or whatever) dammit I fight it!!

Just kidding (sort of)

Mind movies? 600 to 850mg. dxm (with pot if under 700) is the stuff!

Lately tho, I'm afraid to do my 10 year old dexalones...just done low (120) doses of this lately, and get a lot of weird crap that I didn't use to get at all...afraid to increase the dose to what I use to do (never found lower doses rewarding)..afraid the dxm may have degraded to something else...anyone know anything about this?

Ah winter, you make it sound so bad. At least you don't feel guilty waking up at noon; the sun's only been out 3 hours by that point anyway :P

Yeah, shovelling snow is the trigger for many heart attacks up here. Every winter there's TV public service commercials about how if you're at risk, take small shovelfuls or get someone else to do it.

Welcome to the Northeast TAC; I think you'll like a 4-season climate. At least it's not Resolute Bay or Murmansk.

^On the plus side of 4-seasons, the arrival of spring and warm weather is a euphoric event, and autumn is a pretty cool season. (I just noticed, I write autumn, but when speaking I say fall).

Actually TAC, I'm wondering if you've been shocked by the greenness of things. That's what I felt when I moved east, I didn't realize how brown and lightly colored things are over here until the I saw the pervasive deep green of abundant plant life over there. Also the feel/smell of higher humidity.

^ Autumn is a nice word. :)

I haven't been outside of Boston yet, so all I've seen is the concrete jungle. I'm looking forward to spending some time out in the forest here. Hopefully I can find a cool trail to hike over the weekend.

Higher humidity is awesome though. I'm one of the few people I know who appreciates it, unless of course it's beastly hot, in which case it is rather unwelcome.

Edit: Yessss I just successfully tested out of one of my two 9:00 A.M. classes.

Oooooooooooooooooo all along the watchtower!
How many days left till the Aztec's come back to life? Anyone know????

i once went to my doctor and asked for LOLazepam. she didnt find it funny and gave me Dramadol.

lol

Fate is on my side lately. Well, when it comes to impulsive purchases anyway. First, I was buying a backup harddrive at the computer shop, and as I'm taking out my debit card I realize that I have one at home that I can ask my parents to send me, so I start feeling hesitant, but I don't try and stop the transaction. The card reader rejects my card for some unknown reason -- I say "awww shucks" as I breathe a sigh of relief.

Then, just today, I bought a used copy of Windows 7 on eBay because I felt like playing some Windows games on my Mac laptop. I instantly regretted the decision, feeling that video games were a waste of time and money at this stage in my life. As if by magic, due to some error the seller was unable to process the order, and refunded me the money! Ahh, thank you, fate.

And no, I don't actually use the word "shucks" in my casual vernacular. ;)

You are all a bunch of degenerate drug addicts.

How are things, guys? Been a while. Found myself on Bluelight again with regards to the Horizons Conference, which some of you probably know from years past, a yearly shindig (put together by, among others, a good friend of mine) that I've been attending for several years now, and each time have had the opportunity to meet some Bluelighters, as well as others, and hear a lot of interesting "perspectives" on psychedelics" as the tagline would have it. I'll be there again this year (just a few short hops on the train, and I've a few days off work, too), so hoping to do the same again.

As for everything else, what can I really say? Πάντα ῥεῖ--all things flow. I'm not really interested in drugs directly anymore, for some definitions of "drugs" and some definitions of "directly," that is, but you won't find me indulging, really, although I still am in the business of providing relentless, contrarian color commentary. And life goes on. Adult life being what it is, a lot of it's occupied by work, which is sometimes fulfilling, sometimes tiresome, sometimes stressful, but it is what it is. Sometimes I look back on my wild years with nostalgia and sometimes with disenchantment and usually with a healthy mix of the two.

Hope all is well with all of you :)
