Definitely agreed on flying dog.
Dogfish Head is hit-or-miss IMO. Their 60 minute is a very respectable brew. However, their 90 and 120 minutes are just exquisite. I also enjoyed their latest ancient ale, the "Midas Touch" -- which was sort of a cross between beer and mead. Strange, but delicious and very strong. :D
I haven't had a bad experience with Dogfish head, but the more I looked into other ipas (only brews I've had from them is the 60 minute and the 90 minute), the less I find the desire to go out and buy some. The 90 minute IMO isn't as good as the 60. Maybe my problem is that the 90 minute is just a bit to heavy of a flavor to enjoy more than one, and when I drink, even nice beers I really like to have atleast 2 or 3 (I gotta get some sort of buzz with the alcohol, its part of the experience imo, even if you are just trying to enjoy the taste).
I've heard great things about midas touch, I just haven't had the desire to spend 10 bucks on 4 beers. One of these days I'll get one, or I'll go to the local (in NC) high end beer/wine store and make myself a mixed pack.
Right now I'm chilling on 200mg of Butalbital, and a couple of a blue moons. I know the dangers of alcohol and barbs, but 200mg of butalbital isn't very much.
