DAMN it.

It seems like the whole time I'm cooped up indoors listening to lectures or doing homework or studying for exams, the sun is shining brightly and it's absolutely gorgeous outdoors.

Saturday comes around, and the first opportunity I get to go chill out in the woods, it's cloudy and windy as balls. I nevah get to see the sunnnnnn!

goddamn
i hate when i have the house to myself
and dont have some sort of intoxicant
some hash plz.

Woot, going out skiing today. Can't wait. This semester has been kinda shitty for me so this is exactly what I need. Nothing like hitting the slopes to let the mind be set free. Sucks you gotta pay an arm and a leg to do this.

That's why I haven't gone skiing in such a long time. I have friends who work at resorts and could get me free lift tickets, but I always seem to be on the other side of the country from them during the winter. Bah!

i was gunna say you should invite me up to flag sometime for some free skiing tickets :D, but then realized you meant back east. I havnt been skiing in sooo long, really miss it but its too expensive at the moment. Anyhow, how is flagstaff these days? I just got back to prescott and am totally broke and super late with school work, oh well. hope your doin well.

It's after Ikkyu Sojun, the iconoclastic 15th century Zen priest, poet, and calligrapher. I like his poems a lot, and to me he exemplifies that approach to Buddhism that is sometimes called "the red thread," which is the path of exuberance and sensuality.

Actually, I meant here out west since this week I'm moving back to the northeast for a bit. Flag has been nice, especially the unseasonably warm afternoons lately, but I need a change now, so I'm outta here. :)

What awful timing we've had this year! Definitely hit me up if you find yourself in New England again.

Oh man, I love skiing... I've been doing it since I was like 3. I skied at Breckenridge once in Colorado, and other than that, in northern Wisconsin. What an awesome sport. :) You're right though, it's expensive as SHIT. I don't do it often because of that.

Oh man, skiing tonight was out of this world. Didn't get to the slopes as soon as I would have liked, but it was a wonderful way to spend the night. I ended up feeling like i've been skiing all summer long, no real noticeable lose in skill. I can't wait to see how the rest of the season pans out. Skiing turns out to be something that I'm not to bad at.

The weirdest part though is I started thinking about that look that people have when there tripping and you see them staring at like a wall with a big grin and there mouth halfway open. I started to think about all these people from previous trips and remember seeing them with that stupid grin. This started to become a very vivid flash in my head of some realistic/cartoon caveman monkey person. I dont believe in evolution at all (I really dont dwell on things like that much just never give it much thought) but I couldnt stop seeing this image in my head, or I would feel myself doing it or people on tv would all of a sudden have the look. I also couldnt stop thinking about evolution in general and didnt really want to think about it but it was stuck in my mind.

Sometimes it's important to remember that we're just animals too. Just mammals, classified with the great apes (not monkeys, FYI). We certainly have something unique going on, but we're organic lifeforms mostly ruled by hormones and survival as well. :)

Are you by chance in the southern US states somewhere?

I know you guys over here in PD have had some crazy psychedelic combos before, but the other night I had one that blew away any experience I had before. I was about 6 hours into a 9mg 2c-p trip and had a moment of clarity(eye of the storm if you will). During this time where I was in total control of perception of time, breaking down every ego construct I use to hide behind, I decided to take a hit of DPT that I had saved. I only hit it twice, but held each breath in for what seemed like eternity. When I blew out the second time I was in a DMT like vortex with entities trying to contact me(some just becomming me and watching my carbon timeline like it was a toy). Sorry for the rant but this combo was just so beautiful I was wondering if anyone else had tried it?

When you combine powerhouse tryptamines with powerhouse phens things get beyond words :)

I normally don't write about my trips but this one was up there with terriroty that felt unexplored to an extent(I know it's all in my mind) but I'm speaking in terms of where the collective brain has traveled. In that zone time was easy to control like with high dose LSD, but I was able to trave down the "ancient" pathways that DMT allows. If only I could channel all of those wonderful minds' echoes I came in contact with :)

Yeah, I know what you mean. Your experience seemed outside of the collective trip of humanity, so you wanted to write about it. I do the same thing. :) Did you write a report? or are you planning to?

I would like to but my views are pretty "out threre" or whatever. I always know that when I am walking in a distant time it is just my mind creating a reality imprint that is decoded in my dna. One thing that psychs have taught us is that we didn't only keep imprints for survival but for another reason that we are just begining to understand. When I would picture being in Egyptian times I wasn't simply watching it, I was there...or least my brain allowed me to believe so which is all that reality is. God I love being alive in these times :)

Hey Xorkoth, I have been reading your posts since I first joined the site and I must say that you are one of a kind! Just out of curiosity what is your favorite psychedelic? If it is LSD then what is your second?
