Hi everyone...:)

I've decided to leave BL. I've asked to be relieved of my mod duties here, so I just wanted to say bye to everyone. I hope that all of you will be safe and well! There are many of you that I will miss, and maybe I'll come back one day, but it won't be for many years if so. Thank you, especially to all of the mods I've grown close to, and certain BLers I see here and there. Take care. <3

Thank you two. I am currently discussing things with Alasdair, though by the looks of it, continual harassment isn't ideal for me. It's a waste of my life to deal with it.
 
^I'm sorry to hear something like that is happening (here?). Hopefully it's not PD that is driving your desire to leave. I'm sure everyone here wishes you the best in your future endevours. Take care man!
 
Man, this is bullshit... fully almost a month ago, I figured out how to use bitcoin so I could get some methylone for myself and several friends for New Year's Eve. I initiated an order for bitcoin and was told it would be 5 business days - that's fine, I started it way early for that purpose. Well, 5 days went by, then 7, then 8, and I contacted them. After days, they got back to me, oh oops they said, somehow it never showed up in their system. Okay, we'll initiate it again. STILL not showing up. Apparently they've never seen that happen before. Well to make a long story short, after many back-and-forths, each of which took about 2 days, they finally get it to show in the system so I have to wait 5 more days. Today the bitcoins finally arrived, just in time to probably get it shipped and arrived just in the nick of time, and what do you know, the vendor has closed shop until January 9th. What a hassle. So far my bitcoin experience has been quite negative. :\

On the upside, it's almost Christmas and I'm with my family. I spent the day today shopping with my dad and helping him with everything (he can't really take care of himself anymore, ALS is a fast progressing illness, shockingly so when you're not around regularly). I even had to help him pee. It's a bit unnerving but overall it feels really good that I've had this time to really just focus on spending time with him, since every other time I've visited I've had to work from my parents' house and didn't really get to fully relax and just be there. And I got to give my mom a break from it for an afternoon. I have a load of respect for her, I mean I did already, but she does SO much for him, and she never complains and stays cheerful.

Besides that, I've gotten to see a variety of old friends including spending time with one of my best friends from college... he just started a new business and I helped him set up his space, along with more weed smoking than I've done since college. Tonight I'm seeing one of my oldest best friends, from my middle school crew, and then another of my oldest friends, along with my brother and some of his friends who I've known since they were in early grade school. And tomorrow I'll see ANOTHER old friend and then at night we have the annual Christmas Eve party where all kinds of people are going to be having all kinds of fun late into the night. :)

And also I'm leaving now the day after Christmas so I have a full day of not having to work after I get home before it's back to the grind. My main motivation for this is seeing my girl a day earlier and getting to spend a whole night, and following day and night, with her. I miss her so much by now that it hurts. But just a few more days. :)

Damn man, that sucks, I'll be sad to see you go. You can always put people on ignore who are bothering you.
 
Any of you listen to Tame Impala? Parker's latest album has truly blown my mind. Every freakin song off Currents is mint, I can't get over it. I've been listening to the whole album daily for a week. Christ, you people should check it out if you haven't!

hopefully make it to Confession
then midnight Mass
then bed
work tomorrow
spend Christmas day with the closest thing I have to my children I guess my patients <3
after they go to bed probably some spiked eggnog will be available

 
That's weird Xorkoth, shady company you're buying bitcoins from? I don't know, I haven't had any problems and I've purchased bitcoins dozens of times. We have this one Finnish company that sells them and actually I can get them within 24 hours whenever I buy them. The bank transfer shows instantly for them and they handle orders 3 times a day.

No, it's a widely used company, a number of people I know use them with no issues (other than the 5 days time, which seems normal for the US). I seem to have gotten extremely unlucky. I mean I did get the bitcoins finally, in fact they pushed it through at the original exchange rate when I started my attempt which was like $100 less than it is now, so it benefitted me in a way because I got more than I paid for if they had used the new exchange rate, but I wasn't looking for hang on to bitcoins and make money, I was looking to make a single order as quickly as possible.

Is methylone good Xork? How does it compare to MDMA? I've been trying to get some MDMA for a while, seems like I have to order some soon :p
 
Yeah methylone is great. It's like a cross between MDMA and cocaine, more stimulating than MDMA, also much more clearheaded. It feels very light on the body and mind. It's empathogenic, and there is virtually no comedown or aftereffects unless you overdo it. It's also more compulsive since it hits faster and lasts shorter. It feels really good, if I do an initial dose and up to one redose (like an hour or so in), I get a great high that isn't too long (I wish it lasted longer, that's the only gripe I have with it), and then it just peacefully drops off and I feel fine afterwards. In some ways I prefer it to MDMA.
 
I guess it feels more "clear" or easier on the mind than MDMA? Because MDMA is pretty trippy when you take enough and especially with cannabis.. Those visuals and auditory hallucinations have been pretty strong sometimes when I've redosed too many times and smoked weed with it.

I still haven't had the chance to tried MDA.. It seems like a rare substance around here. Do you guys know anything about MDAI?
 
Yeah it's definitely less trippy, it's much more stimulant/empathogen. I have never felt anything but clearheaded on it. It's part of what I like about it.

I'm assuming you're referring to coinbase?

Circle is much more convenient (and probably the second most popular). I think you need to register a bank account first... But then you just connect a credit card and can make transactions instantly (up to a weekly limit, but that limit gets much much higher after a purchase or two).

It's an app though--you can't use it through a browser interface. Also I think I've heard that they've started to require photo ID from new users as an anti-fraud measure--this wasn't the case for me but I found them quite a while ago.

(Btw: I see no reason why people are being vague about naming names. Bitcoin wallet and exchange services certainly aren't "sourcing."

MDAI as far as I know is a pure serotonin releaser, so you won't get the same stimulating effect as you do from MDMA etc.
