Too bad I have to quit snus probably.
I know it's not really the same thing, but I quit smoking 6 months ago, after 15 years. I was down in amount smoked over the last few years from the high of like 25+ a day before, so I wasn't the heaviest smoker, but I did smoke all day every day. It was surprisingly easy! I did it overnight, unplanned because of this here. Just stubbornly bulled through it.
The hardest thing in the weeks that followed was the constant feeling of hunger. It was insatiable, but I just drowned it with water and didn't change my regular diet at all.
If you need to do it, I'm sure you can. I firmly believe that quitting nicotine is easier than people make it out to be. I think people hype themselves up for how terrible and difficult it will be and then fail.
Wish you the best with it, if you do go ahead with it.
