Yo i really appreciate supportive messages. 15 months off heroin 9 off oxy. I was also taking 120mg etiz a day after using it for sox years so that had to stop amd im still tapering but to hell if that shit will get me.

Im putting so much energy into specifcally linear algebra right now but a lot ofe gineering stuff. I,m learning Linux too. It can be hard to think these days but i love how you a tually have to be smart to do mathematical proofs the calculations are easy so far. But i have no idea wherw it will take ,e i just know with my degree if i smarten up i will do well and have a harmonious future. Its review so im learning so fast too and im actually way noticeably smarter now. Thought i fried that part of my brain too but mo way.

i was so strung out inforgot who i was. My field is highly specialized and its like i felt worthless. Fuck opiates ill take the chronic pain i feel it this very moment and im fine. Opiates are proven to make it worse anyway down the road. I try to do yoga now but its tough in benzo wd and possibly dangerous. I like long walks, treks.

Perpetual dude i was in physical agony for two years do tor after doctr treatment after treatment it was my whole life for two years. Then i said fuck it and did H and didnt stop. I was fully functional for years and out of bed and back in school in 6 months. I have NO (dont mean to capitalize but this really should be emphasized) idea how im alive. I shouldnt tke it for granted no matter how much my spine hurts and my heart feels squeezed by a vice grip. I cam still smoke hybrids and grow legally here and have a chill life. Im def done with psychedelics for years to come i tripped about a third of days in the past year. A lotta that was dmt tho amd thats like not even a drug to me something truly profoundly sacred amd naturally synergistic with the mind

it was way harder for me to quit oxy than heroin. A prescription was always around the corner. Despite the H withdrawals being way way worse for me. Aslo, the two times i very nearly died were both hours after picking up oxy scripts. I mever od on h to my knowledge but passed out or nodded if i took too much and that isnt why i used them. They give me energy, mental clarity, total pain relief of my spine, every problem was gone.that stuff is black magic dudes.

My girlfriend has a hiatial hernia (I think that's how you spell it), basically the bottom of her esophagus allows acid reflex but it doesn't go all the way up. She had to drastically change her diet and it still affects her sometimes. Like removal of most acidic foods, no dairy, no coffee, actually a lot of drugs, iboprofen for example fucks her up for like a week. It was a process of trial and error but it's way better for her now, she was suffering a lot for a while.

I wish I could give you a specific recovery program, but I really didn't do much other than patiently let it work itself out on its own. One good habit that I developed was to make sure I never eat anything too close to bedtime, as lying down with a full stomach puts pressure on the esophagus and can cause damage that way.

I will say that I'm totally fine with acidic foods; I love citrus fruit and tomatoes, and pretty much douse everything I eat in balsamic vinegar. I've heard that reducing the acidity of your diet can have the paradoxical effect of causing your body to upgregulate stomach acid production, which does make sense, although I'm not 100% sure if it's true.
 
I'm about to finish a kratom taper myself (been addicted to dope [before it was all fent] and pills, then subs, then got off subs with kratom.) Not looking forward to it, although the reason I went on kratom in the first place is because the withdrawal is a walk in the park compared to dope pills or subs (done this before.)
 
I find kratom withdrawal to have the worst RLS, but other than that it's definitely easier. Of course I was taking 30-50 grams a day for a long time.

TAC, yeah my girl also makes sure not to eat shortly before bed. She's got it pretty bad I think, if she slips a little it starts to hurt, and certain things will make it come back full-blown... a couple of years ago she had gotten it feeling good again and thought, maybe I can drink a cup of coffee, I miss coffee. For he next 3 days it hurt so bad she was bedridden and thought about going to the hospital, and then it took weeks to feel all the way better.

Shroomy, you got this, man. One thing I see people doing is writing down a taper schedule so they can be sure to stick exactly to it, thereby minimizing discomfort. Also are you still trying to taper with etizolam? I do think you'd be better off with something with a long half-life, then you could dose once a day and have less interdose withdrawals.

It's not worth actual use to go back to being sick everyday stuck at a stand still trying to make sure your well. Doctor said I was losing too much weight on my keto diet, so despite it helping my cancer I started eating carbs again. Two weeks later my tumor marker numbers were back up and the tumor in my neck is growing again. =\. So I have quit the carbs again, but now I'm worried. Every time the cancer starts growing again it is stronger and more stubborn than the time before. (I guess because the new growth is from the cells that were strong enough to out-survive the ones that died?)

We auditioned a new drummer last night for my band. It went really well! He's a very cool guy, he stayed and chilled with us friend-style for a long time after we were done playing. He's really good too, better than our old drummer to be honest, a better listener and he keeps rock solid tempo. We played really well together and recorded the best jams we've done in a long while. He seems enthusiastic to be involved. Our bass player just found him on reddit, he moved here recently and basically hasn't been scooped up yet. And he has a van which is pretty sweet for going to shows. The only thing is he lives 45-60 minutes away. So that could be a thing, but on the other hand he said he wants to come back and practice and see where this goes.
 
I might be done tripping. Life is too good to fuck with a tryptamine or phenylethylamine "reset." I'm worried I'll hurt someone if I do dissociatives other than maybe DXM (which I can't do, on Wellbutrin) or ketamine which I have trouble getting good product

If Molly or nitrous and weed are trips I will definitely be doing weed and nitrous at some point and maybe a Molly high once a year or something.

I know right?? My friend showed me this last night at band. For some reason some guy in the audience starts playing with his dick, and the guy doesn't react AT ALL.

So my divorce lawyer just told me that my cats aren't considered property and are not subject to equitable distribution, so the "possession is 9/10th of the law" applies. So that's fucking awesome, because her taking my cats was my biggest concern! :)
