day off. perfect for continuing in the wonderful universe of Mass Effect :D damn that game is good.

Sadly I haven't been able to try K or PCP yet even :(. The Day wil on it's an old useless one, maybe the old man'll hunker down and fighte thurge Who knows.

Never seen PCP, but regarding the k there's been a drought that is just starting to end. So hopefully some comes your way soon, if it appears get it while you can. A gram will get you at least 4 k holes your first time. I'm sure you'll love it. :) Just posting to tell you to keep your eye out for some since the drought is ending!

long time no see PD.. have some pharcyde http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FU9AHlhCOBs <3

How is everyone?

My job expired.. was only temp so no biggie. Kinda been abstaining from drugs apart from bud/alcohol these last few months. Not really sure why that is... time & money mainly i guess, but now i have time and money I'm not feeling any immediate draw back. Took some MDA on new years eve, and had a bit of my mxe at the weekend, but I'm resisting buying any psychs for the time being no matter how tempting. Need to get some structure back, i've slipped straight back into going to bed at 5-6am, which is a shame cause when i was working I broke out of that and it definitely made me feel a lot better.

I'm trying to desperately cling onto my childhood to avoid regrets or some shit idk, but it's too late and it's quite upsetting. Not sure why it's bothering me so, but it really is. 20 in a couple of weeks, seems like far too high a number for where I see myself as being on the time scale haha

I don't remember making any of those posts yesterday. Huh. Oh man, after one of my redoses though my one arm got covered in like hives for a while or something. I think. Or maybe I was hallucinating....either way feel like crap today and gonna call it an early night.

I know I've been overdoing it when I come on to find myself saying stuff like

Man, it's such a rush to kick some ass in a racing game.

Mario Kart FTW. :D

Especially in the afterglow of a cannabis high. Which I've decided is even better than the high itself.

Went skiing for the first time today, was fun as hell

Wicked man. As kingme said it's rare for someone your age to go out the first time and not be black and blue. Glad you liked it. :)

Totally. Racing games were always my favorites. The 'realistic' type are cool in one sense and the nintendo cartoon type are cool in another. I was playing Diddy Kong Racing on my N64 over the holidays. My bro-in law found it in a old box and we hooked it up. :)

I've been trying first-person shooters the last couple days. They're the games most people I know play but I absolutely suck at them so I'm practicing. Aiming is so hard with a gamepad; I'm much better with a real rifle. :P Anyways, to be honest I find the games kind of stress inducing; in a way racing games aren't.

I've had a cold the last few days. Being sick when I'm supposed to be getting busy sucks. And it was -20 this morning, brr.

Haha so true, I had a lot of fun playing one of those cartoon type racing games on an old Playstation a friend still has. But most of the time I still prefer reading. I just finished the third part of the hitchhiker's guide to the galaxy and enjoyed it very very much. This style of telling the story is so amusing and some of the ideas and concepts are brilliant. The bad translation annoyed me though (=D).

Today I realized that I managed to finish a semester worth of work in just 2,5 months, what is totally awesome :) Moreover a plan to get a very interesting position to start my thesis is slowly emerging. Basically I need to pass an examination excellently and do a four week lab course very well parallel to the normal courses. And a good amount of luck. Seems to me like a lot of stress but a doable and worthwhile direction.

But for the rest of the evening I'm taking time off and relaxing with tea and a little bit of herb :)

Good night PD!

Hah, well according to my research group who I went with, I seem to be naturally good at it. Didn't fall much during the whole time I was out there and took on one of the black diamond runs after a couple hours. I suck at moving forward on flat land though, didn't quite get the hang of that.

diddy kong racing was the bomb! i unlocked TT as a playable character back in the day ,took so long....

hitchhiker's rocks too. the end of the third part is where that guy goes on trial and is told to tell the entire truth, right? hehehehe :)

I freakin love those books, I wish that Douglas Adams had written more books. His two Dirk Gently Hollistic Detective books are amazing as well.

HA! Now there's something I prefer about ski's over a snowboard. Poles, two independent moving objects that can produce forward motion (the 'V' thing; one foot this way, one that way, and repeat). When stuck in a flat spot on a board ya gotta unstrap and push, if the flat spot is long enough it's a real pain in the ass. Hands down the worst part about snowboarding. As you get better you get better at maintaining forward momentum, but you're still lacking the advantages skis have.

And yeah, Diddy Kong rocked. I beat the whole game one time with my sister. One Christmas break after not playing it for a while we got down to business and decided it was getting done. :P Then after beating it, it goes back to the way it was before but now the balloons are silver and everything is harder, same tracks though. There is the unlocked space world I suppose; where the lighthouse turns into a spaceship.

And Douglas Adams and the Hitchhiker's guide was awesome. I read all three; it was a gift, massive book with all three books in one.

The intro with Ford was great; "They're going to destroy my home to put in an expressway." "How did you know?" =D

That book had so many things that made me think and laugh all at once.

the fourth and fifth books in the h2g2 series were pretty great too. i especially like the creator's final message to his creation. :) spoiler alert:

NSFW:
the creator's final message to his creation (y'know the entire universe... well, and life and everything =p) was "sorry for the inconvenience." heheheh.

peppersocks, dont limit yourself bro. you've got more imagination than this! for instance, why not use one long pole to push yourself around on the board, italian gondola style? alternatively, kangaroo hopping around the level bit might help... :P sorry dude, theres something about snowboarders where i live that just doesnt click with me. they alwaus behave like they are the only cool guys out there, the rest just stand in their way....

and is it just me being up too early, or should The Main Favourite DOC thread be named just The Big Favourite DOX thread. Because i dont see any other, non-main, favourite DOX thread.... Get to it mods! :P

i didn't like DOC as much as i figured..but i think the quality of the material i had has to have been a factor
