PCP analogues

Sigh, I did not say DXM and K were anlogs of anything, only that both were of the same class and aped each other in structure. Finally, my point was meant to be that Disassociatives are Disassociatices...

Think of it like this: If you smoke Sativa, Indica, pollen, and Afghan cream hash, what true differences willl you notice? You will notice onset, duration, overall potency but you will NOT be able to discern nuances.

Rchamim, I am having a hard time understanding what you're trying to say.

Are you suggesting that all dissociative anaesthetics have the same "signature"? In that case, i completely agree. There is no mistaking that one has taken a dissociative because they all have a similar "zing" to them, from nitrous to PCP. Their effects, however, I find are widely different, despiite the similarity that they all act on dose-dependent "plateaus".

As for your cannabis question... I am quite sensitive to sativa vs. indica, but I ight have a hard time discerning afaghan hash from indica pollen...

Jamshyd: You got my point 100 percent. On Cannabis: Imagine trying to verbalise your expereince for any of the 4 listed. Would it be all that different? It is like opiates/opioids: Nod, euphoria, rush...what is there more to say? there are nuances but none discernible.

rachamim, I'm definitely able to tell the difference between sativa and indica. Indica makes me unable to move, even at low doses while sativa fucks with my mind... big time! Also, indicas will make me depressed for a day or two which most sativas don't. I can also tell the difference between methamphetamine and amphetamine, aside from the time of onset and duration, Methamphetamine makes me feel all tingly, it'll suppress my appetite more than regular amp does. I can even tell the difference between ketamine s isomer and racemic ketamine. S isomer doesn't make me feel dizzy.
Anyway, there sure are different classes of drugs and they share similaries. Like most dissociatives (not salvia afaik) act as nmda antagonists. Still some have a very pronounced dopamine agonistic side to them, others don't. Some psychedelics will make me horny as fuck, while on others sex is nothing I could think of. Take dmt and dpt. They belong to the same class and I used to claim all psychedelics are more or less the same. This was BEFORE I gathered extensive (!) experience with them though. My guess is you haven't used different dissociatives for a longer period of time rchamim, else you wouldn't be saying that they're basically the same besides some nuances. They might act in the same way in regards to nmda and glutamate, but they act on other receptor sites as well. Don't forget that...
Besides, why are we having this discussion? This thread is about PCP ANALOGUES, not about dissociatives. Peace

I see by that ID date that you must have been here for some of them. You remember that kid with gloasses from Arizona who used to be a regular here? He was in just about everyone fo those threads as wll , he had a name built around K, so you might try this lead as well.

You're thinking of K'dOUTinAZ. I've been around a while too, although I lurk more than I post.

i think i just smoked an unidentified analogue. it was sold as pcp, 15mg produce what seems like a pure dopamine agonism. no dissociation at all. not very pleasant if youre expecting a laid back dissociated time in bed. i could imagine partying on this stuff though... if anyone has the possibility to do NMR or GC/MS... well. whatever.

edit: i just tried to masturbate and right before orgasm my muscle tension increased to a million divided by zero. i started shaking tremendously and had to abort project: jackoff. when i started again a few mins later the same thing happened. and again. and again.
i also just talked to a friend on the phone and i noticed i am quite short breathed. bp and heart rate seem to be increased too, not uncomfortably though.
mmm what else, well. in the past hour, i went to pee like 5 times eventhough i havent had much water to drink, looks like this stuff is excreted by the kidneys (just my guess with limited knowledge of the human metabolism).

so lets see:
-hypertone muscles and stress induced tremors (clonus), lack of coordination, very evident when holding something or walking (ataxia?)
-hypertension (not measured)
-tachykardia (very obvious lol)
-tachypnea
-anorexia
-euphoria
-difficulty following my train of thought and expressing it verbally
-polyuria
-shaky voice
-no dissociation :(

ill add more when its easier to "follow my train of thought" again lol
btw there is some evidence that the material in question is 3-oh-pcp. my source suggested this, but i havent personally seen an analysis.

peace

edit2: fuck, i soooo wanted some pcp again. i was getting ready for a wicked time and now this. all i got is some shitty upper... :/

One million divided by zero is zero. Sorry for the pedantry.;)

Crook: You know, in retrospect,I imagine that I too can tell the difference between Indica and Sativa but it is more akin to this: Trying to verbalise a slight nuance is worthless in my mind. You will not be able to even feel that much of a difference to describe it, you know? Maybe it is subjective but I think it is pretty accurate. As I said, the biggest difference I ever felt was within different forms of the same substance.

Methamp and amp? You have me there because for the life of me I could not do it. To be honest though, I despise most any stimulant except coke and even then it MUST be with heroin or I will not do it if you paid me (note: bad HR, do not do the combination...).

In terms of pharmokineticks, are you seriously trying to say you can discern lelevs of dopamine? Again, if so, better than me.

As for the time I used them, it was a period of roughly 7 years, not daily of course but for a while it was indeed heavily. It has been almost 2 decades since I last used them but the memory is as fresh as the day I did it. Like we used to say, "somersaulting in space." Disassociative is the apt term for the class, for sure

PCP analogs ARE Disassociatives, that is exactly why we are having this discussion, or should be the reason anyway.

CT: Ha!!! Yes. I wonder what happened to him? I always remember when he and I got into it over my daring to say that alcohol taken with Benzos can lead to death! What a trip. Otherwise though he was extremely knowledgeable and siure loved Disassociatives. Many come and go, yes? You have a good memory, better than me obviously.

On the math, I have a learning disability with math, as do 3 of my siblings, so I cannot even tackle that one, imagine? I had to cheat my way through to my degree in that respect. Still mastered the Chem though.

I could swear I saw a post by K'dOUTinAZ not too long ago, but I am probably mistaken, and just saw a post of his in a thread that was resurrected from the grave.

Many Bluelighters have come and gone, unfortunately, but compared to some other boards I read, Bluelight still maintains a large number of veterans, which is reassuring considering our main interests are illegal drugs.

Just goes to show that harm reduction does work. Providing information about drugs isn't motivation to do them as some conservatives would argue (we don't need motivation, we're already doing the drugs goddamnit!), but helps to prevent those who use drugs from harming themselves and/or others.

Actually, I was mistaken. K'dOUT's last post was on 05-21-2005. Hope he's still with us, he just disappeared into thin air.

I thought some riff raff about plagiarism caused him to leave. I'm not sure though, it's just want comes to mind atm...

I remember a while ago, K'dOUT made a post about how he was basically sick of life, and constantly depressed despite being on a number of meds, and how he didn't know what to do.

He continued to post for a while afterwards, but shit like that scares me. You never know when someone will decide "ok, today's the day". My guess is he either got locked up again, or just decided to stop posting, but who knows.

He's one of the people who really stood out in OD when I first started at Bluelight (along with negro, and blah/seedless, both of who's input I miss). Don't know what happened to negrogesic, although I remember when he stepped down as an OD mod he basically said he wasn't gonna be around much anymore, but at least Blah is doing well.

Yeah CT, so true. Negro was mad depressed as well, quitting methadone and Benzos, and then just disappeared. I also miss Blah, and a few others. HR though is like a drug to me belive it or not. I kind of hold it as a personal crusade at this point. I make no secret about my Hep-C and as such it just drives me crazy to see kids doing things I did, etc.

Owen: Do not feel bad, I have a science degree and struggle with long division.

Put it into a calculato and see what happens. You'll get zero.

edit: Ok we're both wrong. I should have known this reallly seeing as I'm doing a BSc in Business Economics. Oops :o

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Division_by_zero

If you put it into a calculator, you should get an error. If you're not getting an error, you're either in some funky scientific mode on your calculator, or your calculator has a drinking problem.

Did you read the URL you quoted? How are we "both wrong"? From what I read of your quoted source, a number divided by zero is meaningless, ie undefined. I'm no math expert or anything, and I can't comprehend the complexity behind such an equation, but I'll say again, any number divided by zero is either infinite or undefined. I take wiki articles with a grain of salt, as they are user submitted, but the one you quoted quite obviously restates what I said.

Edit: Where's AlphaNumeric when ya need him?!

Uhm, rachamim... Did you read my second post? Not all pcp analogues are srong enough NMDA antagonists that they could be classified as dissociatives...

Crook: Your classification and the clinical are at odds, and from subjective expereince I offer that the clinical is correct. In the end though, it is kind of a pointless back and forth. The question posed was simply whether a person had tried any of the known PCP analogs, I have. Then the question was, what is one's opinion on them, and i offered mine. It really is just a subjective issue.

I don't know why, but this is the funniest thing I've read all week, maybe even all month! Sorry to hear about the failed mission ! ;)

Crook: I seriously hope that you are not smoking what I think you may be smoking. Recently a batch of badly-manufactured PCP went into circulation, and its effects were not unlike what you discribed. I have not been able to follow up on the story but I think I read that it tested out to be 3-OH-PCP (or a hydroxylated analogue in any case).

If you are, then please flush that poison down the toilet.
