PC PC Gamers - Whatcha playin?

do ya'll use conrollers or the keyboard?

Im sorry that is prolly some 090 shit but I have to ask as the n64 controller was too much for me --- I dont think I could do a keyboard?

Two people of equal skill are playing one on a controller one on a keyboard --- does either have an advantage? (Sorry im old lol)

depends on the game. FPS sucks with a controller because you can't place the cursor precisely, but a flying game would be better with a controller that has a joystick

Been playing alot of Dirt Rally 2.0 for the past few months. Even got a whole sim racing rig, it's awesome not gonna lie. But it's another addiction.. I'm letting it go a little bit for the summer because I want to be doing something else with my time, get back to arts, going outside, nature etc. It's still gonna be there for me when I want to get back on it, probably when it starts to get cold again ^^

Planescape Torment Enhanced, but on my smartphone. I meant to purchase it from Google Play for my laptop where I also have my Google account, but I couldn't install it on my laptop and I could only purchase my smartphone.

I'm sad.

Been going pretty hard on Far Cry 5. Decent game and the plot while a little out there is befitting of the era we live in.

Man, I saw that a 2TB SSD sata cost about $180 before Black Friday. Silly me, I thought I'd hold out and get an even better deal, or spend more and get a 4TB 'cause 2TB ain't much now, to upgrade my gaming PC storage and eventually move it to my media PC for better stability and speedy backups.

Anyhow, haven't seen the 2TB drop below $350 for months now. 4TB finally dropped to $700... whoopie.

Read on NPR that memory chips will be in extreme demand with little supply for the foreseeable future due to AI data farms. YAY!

Seems super expensive till you look at what like a ps5 costs and that you dont really own any of the games -- balancing that; Gaming got expensive!! I think I got my SNES brand new when it came out for 99 bucks, same with playstation, playstation 2 was 200 which was objectable but it played dvd's which was another thing they were FORCING you to buy anyways and costed about 100 at the time. (GREAT PR, made pitching it to parents a breeze!)

Anyone still getting your consoles / systems from your parents (Shutup I see young ppl posting here) --- umm How!??

Than the micro transactions (Are those in most games now?) I am old and confused and it seems unfair you can buy your way to advantage rather than actually play the video game till you have a stacked character.
(and using that character in multi-player was still frowned on; before online when everyone could have they souped up player though)

Damn kids *Shakes SNES controller* "This is the right amount of buttons!"

This is going very very way back in time. But the pc-version of this game is still on the market for like 3 €.
I need to play it on my current machine. It doesn't even have a DVD-drive.

The other game I meant to (re-)purchase is Neverwinter Nights, but if can't play it on my laptop, I won't bother.
