Paypal and pillreports

paypal has been known for all kinda problems. go to Paypalsucks.com
why would pr use them when they have such a negative outlook on drugs and have been known to work with police officials..you wouldnt see my name on anythang that has to do with paypal and drugs.
 
People who donate to the development fund arn't doing it because they are 'druggies'. Pillreports is a harm reduction website and donating is perfectly legal and does not indicate any crime. As stated on the 'why donate' page, thousands of development hours have gone into the site and thousands of dollars spent.
 
cowboy mac your missing the point...I never said anythang about druggies and never said pillreports was not perfectecly legal...I stated Paypal is known for a Negative outlook on drugs.ecstacy is drug...alot of people dont see pillreports as a Harm reduction..I gaurantee that the DEA doesnt think this sight is for that..All they see is people on there talkin bout ... "Man I hope i get thes in my area Soon"... or All the reports of illicit drug use...I do see how pillreports IS a Harm reduction site because Ive seen that it can help from adulterated pills..But lets keep it real..paypal are snitches...One case to help you understand paypal released many names to Dea.. that were donating or buying from certain companies...read paypal policy of use it takes all rights from you when you use the service..they can tell people your buisness..they can tell who is a major donater..(which happened to marc emery) which has nothin to do with what were speakin of I just thought I'd give you an example...what im sayin is people should no that if they donate thru paypal they have to go buy all paypals rules & regs..like someone could easily see what IP number is giving the donation.. IP number can easily turn into a address..HAve you went to paypalsucks.com give it a try read all the rules and regs..and read other people threads...
 
Well suggest an alternative form of payment, or just don't donate. We are thousands of dollars in debt over this and any suggestions are welcome. With our testing kits sales we accept direct deposit, but from a anonymity point of view that is even worse.

At some point, if you want to make a difference, you have to take some risk. Right now it is just us taking the risks, and paying the money. Thousands of people use Pillreports.com every day for free. It would only take a few people donating to make the difference. We don't want to introduce commercial advertising but we may have to.

I may be wrong but isnt there already advertising like the one for the web designer and then the one for pill testers or is that all free ..sorry for taken the paypal thing a lil far but they have done a lot of wrong things to companys and non-profit organizations. I wouldnt mind advertising but some may.. wouldnt be hard to find out just ask.Whatever makes pillreports.com a better site for users would be great.
 
Thanks for the headsup on paypal but as no one has used it no one has to worry.

We get no money for the ads that are currently on pillreports.com. We will be looking at sponsorship and some small paid ads soon. It will all be done tastfully and subtlely. But it has ot happen. We aren't a charity, much to our chagrin, and trust me we've tried to apply :)
