Opioids Paused Mylan Extraction / Damage Assessment / Restart

Hello,

I attempted to extract a 50mcg Mylan Fentanyl patch this morning. I used a double boiler method which worked smoothly. I added at least 1-2 cups of 91% ISO and proceeded to initiate the double boiler. I started with medium heat, which seemed to work fine. 20 mins later, little evaporation progress had been made so I increased the heat moderately. Fast forward 60 mins, I'm watching the fent start to try to congeal even though I had made ribbons of it w/ a straight razor. It was at this point I added maybe 10ml of the 91% I had left and also about 5ml of purified water. I thought this would prevent the fent from burning and also release more fent into the alcohol. After evaporation, I'm left with something, although I'm not completely sure if this is the end result or not.

I know about the way to extract using no heat at all, but I'm a bit discouraged so far. Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
