Passing out

My friend just drank z of tussin cough medicine. He says he feels that he will pass out. If he does, will it do anything permanately damaging to his brain? I mean i know it cant be good but i want to know if he will get really hurt or not.

He will probably pass out but nothing will happen to him unless he vomits.. Dxm is known to have a sedating affect on some people. I know I have passed out on it before. I would go through periods where I would blank out and then wake up again feeling like an hour had passed when in reality a minute passed

SHIT! d00d, tell him that he can't pass out or might slip into a coma, tell him that this has happened to many, many people - over 95% of those who pass out on DXM never awake!
(of course there is no danger, but it's a funny thing to tell your friend)

wow. i cant even sleep on dxm...
maybe its cause i do the stuff with pseudoephedrine in it. while eating sinus decongestants. and not sleeping for days. and hallucinating that the white walls in my apartment turned red and the paint started peeling and turning into flames.
that was kind of a neat night.

I know this is off the subject of passing out and what not, but since DXM is brought up, I've been thinking about robotripping, but do not know which type of Robotussin to get. Could someone let me know which is the safe one...there are so many that have other ingredients in it and I just want to be cautious and safe. Thanks.

http://www.erowid.org has a list of all dxm containg non-perscription drugs and their active ingredients. only do shit with dxm as the ONLY active ingredient

Fuck the name-brand shit, go for the generic.. just look at the active ingredients - the shit you want will ONLY contain DXM, while others will have p-fed and APAP..

and they all have nasty vomiting effects

its also gotta NOT be alcohol and sucrose free
theres never much alcohol anyway
