Hi everyone!

My name is Josette, and I’m a Doctor of Occupational Therapy student at California State University, Dominguez Hills. Along with my colleagues, I’m conducting a research study examining the relationship between self-efficacy, occupational performance, and quality of life among individuals in substance-use recovery.

We’re inviting adults in recovery to participate in a brief, anonymous survey that takes about 20 minutes to complete. Participation is completely voluntary, and no identifying information will be collected. You will need to be 25 years or older, sober for at least 6 months, and have the ability to reflect on your recovery experience.

Our goal is to better understand factors that support recovery and meaningful daily participation, which may help inform future programs and services. If you’re interested, the survey link is available through the QR code on the following flyer.

If you have any questions please do not hesitate to contact us at:
[email protected] or ‪(840) 977-9812‬

Thank you so much for your time and for supporting research in the recovery community.

Full-on sobriety is a hard sell for me. Quitting almost everything most of the time feels more realistic.

Which is suffice to say I am not eligible but would be interested in seeing the results - if only to see what (if any) difference there is. I honestly suspect they’ll be much the same only one skips the moralising.

thank you for the info about participation along with that the award systems is where recovery began for me
