Part time nicotine

I hope this is in the right spot. So it's like this, I used to smoke cigarettes daily, about a pack a day habit. Abouta year ago I quit, and after about 7 months I began to smoke only when drunk or high, and shit I get a nice buzz from it.

As somone with a high tolerance to good chronic, I always look to find ways to give weed that extra kick, and this seems to work (sort of.) I have had no cravings or been temted to smoke full time at all in the last 4 months of practicing this.

Anybody able to quit smoking, then resume part time for the buzz factor? Any experience would be appriciatted. Thanks.
 
I've gone from being a pack-a-day smoker to only smoking on the days that I'm without meth.

I dunno, I guess I'm trying to give my dopamine receptors a kick-start with the nicotine. :\
 
When i used to smoke not that much i could definately feel a rush/light-headness, although i never found a difference when mixing it with bud.
 
Ha ha I've asked people I know who smoke weed (I don't really anymore) this question and some say they get a nicotine head rush, others say they don't...

Whatever works for you brother.

ETA: If this is about nicotine with weed then it probably belongs in the marijuana discussion forum...

one last idea about nicotine - I think it ruins the stone for me, I only smoke bud, no tobacco. I can't tolerate the smell/taste/harshness/smoke. All weed I've smoked isn't as harsh, and you actually get high, so I wouldn't even bother with tobacco.

I would probably advise having one or two drinks maximum before I would advise having cigarettes with weed, but do what you like and try to keep it in moderation. :)
 
I am a rare nicotine user. I bought pipe tobacco half a week ago and half smoked one bowl of it. But I have gone through periods of heavy use. All in all I wish I never bothered with it but now that I can control myself I don't see any problems coming my way. Nicotine isn't that addictive to me because its a really shitty buzz and its terrible for you.

If I smoke too much tobacco I start to feel ill, wondering why I ever like smoking in the first place. But I agree with Captain up there, I'd definaltly choose a lil bit of alcohol (like a 40 or 2) before nicotine. I'm sure the best course of action would be just to take a tolerance break, easier said than done!
 
I've gone from a pack a day, to a full quit now currently I only smoke one or two a night. Once I finish this pack I am going to try to quit again.

The Buzz totally sucks, I really only crave it when I'm drinking at this point.
 
I've heard that smoking menthols while high makes you higher, but I don't think that holds a lot of truth. I still like menthols when I'm high (I don't smoke them sober, unless I bum one off of someone else or I haven't got anything else) because they seem to taste good then, especially after a blunt.

I'm a regular chainsmoker anyway, I've had to go from Parliament Lights to USA Golds because P-Funks are more expensive and IMO not that much better than USA Golds.
 
I Quit smoking about a year ago, started socially smoking about 6 months ago, and now a yea later i'm a full time smoker again.
 
If your major concern is the getting addicted to tobacco again, I would stop.

I smoked a pack a day for ten years, quit for several months and then decided to smoke spliffs with tobacco in them occasionally. It wasn't much long after that I started smoking cigarettes full time again. I had to quit again and it sucked, but now I don't smoke any tobacco at all. If you were a regular cig smoker, I would advise against tobacco unless you don't care about becoming addicted to tobacco at the moment.

My tolerance to cannabis is pretty high, but there are simple ways to get that out of this world feeling again. Find different strains. Pick up hash, oil, butter, anything you can get your hands on that is not your "daily" smoke. Of course a simple break will do the trick as well.

and OP all it is is a niccy buzz combined with a THC buzz.
personally i find nicotine disgusting.

I definatly don't want to get re-addicted to tobacco, and as mentioned above there are better ways get higher on weed. Eventually I'd love to experiment with hash or whatever, at this time I am really struggling financially so it's not an option at this point.

I have also tried using tagemet and omega 3 fats, and it boosts the weed a little bit, but that's a pain in the ass to eat a cocktail of otc meds and supplements then wait 45 mins, and then smoke. Anybody hear of anything else like that?
 
I rarely smoke a cig sober... not a great buzz so I see no point.

I almost always spark a cig after a blunt. They go together too well.
 
I mainly only smoked tobacco socially such as cigarettes, good cigars once or a few times a month, and I once tried smoking a pipe with tobacco but it wasn't my thing.

When I was in HS I went to Spain and smoked cigs daily for the two weeks I was there and the U.S. brands of tobacco actually tasted better than they do here in the states but I also had some excellent hash there.

I've never mixed herb and tobacco not even with blunts as I find the idea to be nasty but I've found that when I get drunk I crave nicotine or if I'm with friends and drunk and everyone else is puffing on cigars I'll take a few puffs since I want the nicotine then but I don't smoke an entire cigar like I used to as a teenager and I don't inhale cigar smoke either even if some people do or can.

When I've dated people who had a cigarette, cigar, pipe fetish they'd constantly be smoking around me or sometimes when we were intimate and it didn't bother me then but I don't want to start using tobacco again socially or part time even if a guy wants to blow smoke in my face or watch me puff on a cigar a bit.
 
Well, I quit 5 months ago because of the FSC bullshit.

But before that, I ALWAYS had to have a cigarette after smokin' some bud. It definitely boosted my high, and it just felt more complete.
 
Hash isn't that expensive. Get some Isopropyl bro!

Yes I can. Soak weed in choice amount of 99% isopropyl (or atleast 91). This is available at drug stores and maybe even grocery stores. I got some 91 from a chain pharmacy recently.

Wait a day to make sure all the goodies are extracted. You can wait less time but you will end up with smaller amount of hash that is harder to handle. Strain. Evaporate completely and scrape up goo with razor blade. Put goo on top of ground cannabis. Great for vaporized cannabis, mild cannabis, etc.

WARNING: You need at least a quarter ounce to consider doing this. Other wise its not worth while.
