paracetamol question

Hi

How much paracetamol can one take over 24 hrs b4 it starts to get dangerous? I ask cuz I got 20mg dhc and 500mgs of para I'm taking about ten a day so around 5g's of paracetamol a day. Is this safe?

Nope. Well. It's impossible for us to say, people's capacity to handle paracetamol varies hugely but you shouldn't exceed 4g in 24 hours (US guidelines now say 3g I believe) especially as a regular thing. You don't want to find out too late that it's too much for you to handle and you've given yourself liver failure.

If you're regularly taking more than 4g in 24 hours you need to do a cold water extraction on the pills

^ This! A CWE is the best thing, you won't have to worry about dosing a dangerous level of paracetamol and it will allow you to enjoy the DHC.

As already mentioned, you do NOT want to be ingesting that amount of acetaminophen. Are you not already starting to feel the effects from it?

Please always eat with your meds if you're taking that much at once or in one day. As others have stated 4g's is the max amount but if you feel the need to continue taking that much without a CWE eating will help. Although it's NOT ADVISED to take that much apap...

CWE's are the way to go..
Might seem like a little bit of an effort but you will be shocked with the end result.
You will be a hell lot safer.
