Paracetamol & Codiene Caplets

I was wondering if these pills were safe to take in higher doses because of the other drugs besides codeine.
the active ingredients are Codiene Phosphate Hemihydrate 8mg and Paracetamol 500mg. Does anyone know a safe dosage for these pills?
 
i believe paracetamol to be the same as acetaminophen, so the last time i had codeine and para. tablets (i was in paris), i filtered out all the para. and drank a cocktail containing nearly 250 mg of codeine. It was a good amount and I felt pretty good. I hope this helps.
 
You MUST remove the paracetamol (=acetaminophen in the US) or you risk serious liver damage! Up to about 1g (1000mg) or so of para is okay when inevitably carried over with the codeine extraction (or course less is better!). Refer to Rhodium's homepage under 'hosted sites' on www.lycaeum.org for an extraction method.
 
Yes I reccomend extracting the APAP...if you have a large number.
However, assuming you don't have liver disease or some liver enzyme problem, you *can* take more than 1 gram a day. Keep it under 6 grams in a 24 hour period and don't make a habit of it!

Yes I speak from experience. I have ingested *FAR* more than 1,000mg, several days in a row...But I won't post the amount I ingested, as I don't want all the Greenlighters to do it 'just because Spedly did'.

Yes , crush up around 20.I thought the Codiene buzz not as good as hydrocodone or oxy , but when there is nothing left , they can be your best friend.
 
I've done two of the litel devils & it's hard to determine whether I feel codiene or the placebo more. I feel slight loss of motor control and operating any type of machinary could be truthfully rendered mentalling difficult.
 
Normally it's no big deal to take 1-2g APAP in a day, but the thing is, these pills only have 8mg Codeine... that means you would need to take, shit, about 15-20 pills to get a decent buzz - so while 1g of APAP wont hurt you, I would be a little more concerned with 10g ..
The good news - those pills you got are dirt cheap, and they are OTC so there isn't really a limit as to how many you can buy ... a cold water extract on a few hundred of the pills can yeild a NICE amount of warm fuzzies!
