Paper being sold at headshops

So the other day I was talking with some friends who were letting me know that some headshop in NY is selling something similar in nature to L on paper. I haven't went in to look at it in person yet, but I'm interested in seeing what it actually physically looks like... apparently the owner is selling it and saying that it'll make you trip and he'll sell it to them as long as they take it "under his supervision". Little confused about that one...who exactly wants to trip under a strange man's "supervision"? Anyway... has anyone else seen paper being sold in headshops? I want to figure out what's on it - there are so many things it could be... makes me a little angry though to think any paper's being sold that way... brings more unwanted attention to paper in general.
