Papaver Somniferum

This may be a stupid question, but can someone give the phonetic spelling so i'll finally know how it's really pronounced, thanks. Wish there were more poppy heads on this board.

Weird, I always pronounced it:
puh-pah-ver som-nii-fur-um
uh, if that makes any sense...

If you want true pronunciation get a greek and latin dictionary...
Somniferum is prolly sounded like it's spelled though.

Thanks all, I checked poppies.org and didn't find anything. Any way does anybody know why papaver somni-forum has disabled registration.

ketamatic already gave the info:
papaver = pop-uh-ver
somniferum = som-nif-er-um
poppies.org disabled registration because too many lamers have been flooding the boards asking stupid questions, if you would take the time to READ through all the posts I bet you would see there is no need to even bother posting..
