I used to just smoke weed at most twice a week and I've only been smoking for 4 or 5 months. I tried to quit a while ago because I couldn't really afford it anymore. I felt fine for the first week without weed because I was rolling ecstasy for two days but the second week all I could think about was weed and I was having about two panic attacks a day until I finally gave in and just got more. I have suffered from anxiety and panic attacks in the past prior to any drug use so was this just a coincidence or was it withdrawal from the weed?

Also, now anytime I feel anxious/nervous/stressed I just smoke some weed and I feel fine again which is almost every day now.

Very common for people who try to quit weed, it shouldn't last to long if you've only been smoking 5 months. But many people experience sadness aft few days after ecstacy, so That could've been adding to the withdrawal. Good luck!

Just keep using in moderation if it helps you. Panic attacks are a cunt mind, used to know a m8 who had them often. Breathe into a paper bag if you get them again. You prolly knew this, but whatever.

I say suck it up and just soldier on. The panic attacks whilst awful will not kill you and will probably go away quite soon. Then you can be rid of the thing that is causing you so many issues. Remember you quit for a reason.

Was probably the ecstasy more than anything tbh. If you went on a two day bender that's not too good for your short term mental health and anxiety isn't uncommon during comedowns.
