Panic attacks during drug use.

Have any of you experienced a Panic attack while using drugs?

Thoughts?

I know to me they are very scary cause it feels like you are having a heart attack, but really there is nothing wrong except for increased heart rate and getting light headed and finding it a little hard to swallow. There is never any chest pain when you are having a panic attack.
 
Yeaa i can remember my first panic attack vividly it was fucked up cuz i didnt even know what a panic attack was so i really thought i was gonna die.

Before i even really used drugs 4 ounces of robo 20mg hydrocodone and the two fat bowls of weed is what set me off not pleasent at alll.

Its definately because i was robo trippin hardddd and with more experience i now know that weed potentiates dxm a greattt amount.
 
I've had two panic attacks while on drugs, both of them were induced by stress, lack of sleep, low blood sugar and dextroamphetamine.

On the other hand, whenever I take Adderall, I feel like I'm about to have a panic attack, but never do.
 
I have never experienced panic attacks before on anything but cannabis. I think that's why I love opiates so much. I know what to expect each and every time. Mmmm... opiates.
 
Yeah I had a panic attack while on acid, because I was alone and got lost in a big city. I stopped breathing and my vision went blurry. Then I puked and felt better.
 
My first one happened after I tried weed.
I also got one from 450mg of DXM way back.
Now I get close to them when I've been using stimulating drugs all day and I can't get to sleep, but now it's more anxiety and paranoia-type stuff.
Heart beats quickly, body parts become numb, feels like ur forgetting everything and you're about to die.

Worst panic attack ever was towards the end of a meth binge. The morning after droppin two grams on my own. Fuck that shit
 
I've had 3 panic attacks on 3 different drugs, the first and worst was on Coke (cheap low quality shit mixed with fuck knows what) the second was on PPA (dirty useless stimulant) and last but not least was on propoxyphene (curiosity gone wrong). All 3 times I thought I was a dead man but I guess that's how you learn...
 
cannabis when youre sober on other drugs yeah for sure. when youre on other drugs too sometimes it makes people worse
 
I get them all the time cannabis nutmeg something else something else i cant remember but yea it sucks though I did my best not to care just let it be work through it best i could
 
A few times my friend Mary Jane had me freaking out, but only for about 15 minutes, they go away as fast as they come on. But that 15 minutes is pretty intense. And once from taking Zoloft with Buspar.
 
Yes I have, but thankfully because of having panic attacks i scored a trazodone prescription which works wonders for comedowns (esp coke and LSD where sleep is seemingly impossible)
 
I completely lost it while on 300 mg of DXM, about 3-ish hours in. Freaked out to the extreme, and thought I was never going to get back to "normal." I kept telling myself it was okay, but only time, and a little human interaction calmed me down. :\ It happens. I actually miss higher dose DXM experiences, and the dissociation they provide even though some panic occured during that particular instance.
 
Today, before going to work, I smoked quite a lot of meth. I had slept 4 hours last night after a meth binge. Bad idea : everything was fine until I began to work (fast job in catering). Then I was constantly keeping watch on my hearthrate, sometimes dizzy, sometimes beginning to get my red arm numbed.
Yeah, that was a bad day.
Home sweet home.

i totally agree. one time though my heart rate went up pretty hig when i smoked weed with like 50mg oxy so i took my pulse and it was 180 but i wasnt having a panic attack i was pretty calm. idk what caused this
 
Cannabis, amphetamines, and DXM (high dose) are the big three for me.
I hope people are now starting to realize the potential dangers of marijuana.
