Panadeine Extra Question?

Ok so you all know of the panadeine extra 12's and 24's, they are 15mg codeine/500mg paracetamol. now these pills have a line through the middle, half says 'PAN' and the other half '15'. it came to my attention that a while ago, there was a company (not sure if it was GSK) had separated the paracetamol and codeine into two halves. just wondering if anyone has taken these, if this is still the same or is the paracetamol running throughout the entire pill?

it would save me doing a CWE!

The paracetamol is running throughout the entire pill. We haven't been lucky enough to have splittable pills for some time now.

Yeah, I have the same ones man, from my sister's wisdom tooth surgery... she didn't have a single one...

Nurofen + used to be splittable. Not anymore.

Panadeine also now has effervescent tablets so be careful.

I think the OPs question has been answered. Perhaps this could be mentioned in the FAQ.
