So about a week ago i had a shot of tar and i got a histamine reaction from it. i was in the vein but at the end of the shot it started to burn so i slipped out or through or whatever. Now i have a lump about 1-2 inches above the injection site, its completely under the skin and very sore. Ive seen other threads but i didn't find any with a lump fully under the skin. i bet there is some but i couldn't find them so sorry. I've had lumps from misses before however they didn't hurt and they were visible. from what i've said do you guys think it requires a doctor? what are the things i should watch out for? i don't think it has grown however it hasn't gotten any smaller. Any help is appreciated. And is this the same as the lumps that are visible? if so sorry for posting another thread.

I have no experience in this area but I do have a lot of experience with zits and boils. Could it be infected? Perhaps try to bring it to a head by using warm wash cloths and other things one would use to bring a boil to a head. Or you could try lancing it with a straight pin.
But take these suggestions at face value as I'm assuming it's infection and I have no experience whatsoever in this area.
