Opioids Painful Gas from opiates?

I've been doing opiates occasionally for about 2 years now. Most days I've ever done them in a row is 2, and usually several weeks apart, with a month in between every now and then. I got smashed on 2.5 mgs of percocet the first time and somehow even being a 130lb male using somewhat sparingly watched my tolerance skyrocket to 80-90mgs at its highest( I've managed to bring it down to about 60 again after taking longer breaks) but my disturbingly quick tolerance increase isn't the point.

I've been having rather fucking painful gas for a few days after taking oxy, and its pretty clear that oxy's effects on the digestive system are probaly to blame for this. I only got constipated when I taking larger doses twice a week and was unfamiliar with its slowing effects on digestion( The first time I got really constipated on it was enough of an eye opener to take various steps to avoid it ever happenening again. But the goddamn gas pain is annoying. Its that feeling like you really want to let out a fantastic belch but its refuses to move in either direction.

Anyone else deal with irritating bloating? One of the benefits of being a dude was that I thought I wouldn't have to deal with this. Sometimes its get bad enough to make me somewhat nauseous, especially if I'm on the oxy at the time, it pretty much ruins the experience. Maybe some diet changes? Simethicone works a little bit if I take 4 of the xtra str tablets( it says take 2 at once but simethicone is about as harmless as its gets).

The gas pain lingers even after I've stopped taking oxy for several days. Done all kinds of streches and movements that are supposed to release trapped gas and frankly not only do they not work but they look ridiculos enough where if someone saw you doing them they might not talk to you again. The gas is quite uncomfortable but dosen't seem to be dangerous. If anyone has any remedies or experience with this help a homie out.:?

It essentially gets trapped and its unpleasant, but when I took opiates and other drugs daily and this happened, I found that sticking a finger down my throat to make myself gag would allow me to release that.

If you take strong antacids (as far as OTC's go, I recommend ranitidine/Zantac) you can reduce or prevent this from happening.

Since you're doing them so infrequently, I'd recommend just sticking with the Simethicone. you're right: it's fairly innocuous and it works.

You've already tried the yoga positions that help move the digestive system, so I think you're best off with the simethicone. You could also try increasing the amount of intense cardio you do on the days you take opiates. It will speed up your GI.

But you have to counter the dehydration by drinking even more water than normal. Actually, now that I think about it, drinking more water has helped me with the excess gas problem before. I try to drink 2 liters a day when on opiates.

God, yes. This happens to me, very rarely, but once in a blue moon(usually when I'm working--delivering=sitting up straight=odd gas) I'll get this, a very sharp gas-type feeling, usually one of the few things I can do other than wait it out(usually only lasts an hour for me max, and not bad enough to ruin my buzz) is drink some carbonated beverages and try to make myself burp, usually I can at least alleviate it somewhat.

I always imagined it was from digestive gasses (fart) being trapped in by a brick of solid poo. Like, the hard constipation-poo was plugging up the exit, so the fart-gas could not escape. Very uncomfortable, and occasionally quite painful too...

LOL, as funny as it is, that's actually quite a solid(no pun intended) theory.
