chest pierced by a flower,
i cremate buds-- to reciprocate;
shrouding myself in stringent smoke.

sauntering through the kitchen stoned;
munchies warrant a thorough search
of the cupboard.

pop-tarts and frosted flakes,
oreoes and lays--i eat only one,
(it can be done) but
the pain makes me nauseous.

i continue foraging...

further up a bold blue lie,
brightly displayed on a yellow bottle.
"pain relief"

burning laughter rings
at this idea;
the whole bottle could relieve my pain....

yet i go hungry again,
because nothing can cure the fucking munchies.

This has a good blend of humour, poetic phrasing and astute observation.

These lines are really strong:

chest pierced by a flower,
i cremate buds-- to reciprocate;

further up a bold blue lie,
brightly displayed on a yellow bottle.
"pain relief"

burning laughter rings
at this idea;
the whole bottle could relieve my pain....

The rest of the poem works pretty well too; there's a good flow to it.
