Opioids Pain Pills After Tooth Extraction

Next week I'm losing a tooth known as the first premolar (it's next to the canine tooth on the right). I assume the dentist will prescribe pain pills. Can those who've gone through tooth extraction tell me what to expect in terms of #s and type? For accuracy's sake, it should probably be for a tooth that's already come in (for instance, a wisdom tooth in the gum would be something different). Thanks in advance!
