I've had several back surgeries and have iinjured my L5. S1 disk again which is pressing on my sciatic nerve and I experience extreme pain I am currently prescribed percocet 10 325 for pain Valium 5 for muscle spasms also zanaflex for muscle spasms but the meds don't seem to help my pain anymore what would be my best bet to ask my doctor in med switch? Thanks

Hi Josh and welcome to Bluelight.
Unfortunately none of us can really suggest which drugs you should be on for your disc herniation - your doctor would be best placed to have this discussion with. You don't mention any kind of anti-inflammatory, that might be one route to help reduce some of the pain. As would exercise if you don't already do any. The healthy living forum sometimes gets similar questions, you may find some useful info there as well.
