My PCP has been giving me norco 5mg (not nearly enough for my tolerance and pain level ) however he's been prescribing for 3 months and then he closed his practice and referred me to PM. First Appt is tomorrow and I am curious if they typically refill meds on first visit. Since I've been getting them anyway it's only a refill not a new thing. What y'all think?

You'll most likely get a bunch of questions first, and it kinda depends on the specific doctor, but if they reassess you as having a need for them, then they should prescribe them again. And if you dont feel like they are enough, you should probably bring that up to them and see what they have to say. (Dont ask for an increase in dosage, just tell them that what you have is not working well enough)

Yeah I ran out early and have been suplimenting with tram which I had an old script of. Figure I'll say the norco isn't working so I took my old tram for break thru pain
