pain in throat/mouth area

I hav joined this website because I Ian not quite sure what I have wrong with me my throat hurts and my glands around my neck area on my left side has swollen Ian in agony every time I try to swallow even swallowing my saliva hurts and right at the back of my teeth on the bottom there is a lump that is throbbing and really hurting me my tounge is also a little swollen.
I've tried gargling my mouth with warm salt water that does nothing I can't eat I haven't slept in three days I've tried taking paracetamols but they don't to much I can't open my mouth very wide either can you please help me?!?

Have you tried going to your doctor? You may have a throat infection that may need antibiotics.

Have you been taking any substances recently that may have caused irritation or caused you to maybe hurt the inside of your mouth (alcohol, stimulants, smoking etc)

Sorry for not having given useful advice earlier. Your symptoms are consistent with both Strep. throat and various types of tonsillitis. Both of these conditions, and symptoms of the severity you note in general, require medical attention, so indeed, get to a doctor.
