Ok so almost 7 months ago I had my wonderful little boy and used an epidural to eliminate pain. Since then I have had terrible, terrible back and leg pain. The back ache is constant and my leg will get numb spot or sometimes feel like a liquid was poured on it and starts to burn. I lost my physical job due to the pain and around my area there really isn't a job that's not physical. I need to work. Both for money reasons and because, while my kids are great and I love spending time with them, they drove me nuts sometimes. If I can get paid to leave the house 2 or 3 days a week ot may save my sanity lol b
When inhad had my daughter 6 years ago, the epidural didn't work above my thighs and I felt all the contractions and such so I guess it was botched. It also shot electricity through my legs when it was administered whereas this time it didn't and this recent one worked.
Anyway my my mom was in a pain clinic for a while that I drove her to. It's also a family practice so they will accept you even if you have no prior diagnosis or tests done wich I don't. And do their own tests. Should I give them a call to see wtf is going on? I was decently active before I got pregnant, hiking and walking a few miles a couple times a week and I want to get back to that without spending the money and taking the risk involved of buying meds on the street. I'm just worried that since I don't have anything since I have no primary care that they are going to think I'm going just to get high especially since my mom wasn't the patient of the year of you catch my drift. Should I give it a go? I just want to be the active mother my kids deserve. When I have pain meds my life is so much better, not because of the mental effects but I can move around and run with my energetic, happy, kids
