The feds will probably just nip away at large-scale vendors who are near virgins or some stupid shit. There's no way they dare overturn the whole law. I mean, these are blue states.

I don't know what the numbers in the title are for but I like them.
 
The feds will likely pick a few vendors to make examples of, totally ruin those peoples' lives, and leave everyone else alone. That was their track record with medical marijuana dispensaries, so I feel they'll do the same here.

So overall you think they'll just use scar tactics and make no serious headway?

Of course eradication is impossible but if they actually tried, it seems like they could at least scare a lot of folks in CO/WA.

Yeah, then you'll see ballot initiatives legalizing cultivation for personal use. I laugh a deep belly chuckle at the idea of the feds going after all those people. You don't push back against what people rightly choose to make law. Then you just piss a fuckton of people off. I mean what, are they going to make the DEA's budget the size of the DOD's to enforce this? Or use the DOD to enforce it?

That would be an interesting choice of them to make. Entertaining as well. But hey, they're going to find a use for all those fema camps they've been so busy constructing sooner or later.
