Hatton went down in the second, and now he is contemplating retirement? I didn't see this fight but damn; it had to be bad (or good) if Hatton is considering retirement. I think this is his only second loss, with both of them against respectable fighters (Mayweather Jr and Pacman).

why decide retirement so soon? is Hatton getting older? I know some boxers just like to quit while they are ahead, and just past their prime. maybe that is what Ricky Hatton is doing?

No he probably ruined his chances at a big payday.

Pacman is going to get his against Jr now, but Hatton has lost to both them so who else in that class can he fight??
