no, I believe we came up with using a mouthguard aswell. so, a pacifier is not the ONE thing.
and to those saying they have sore jaws from chewing gum, you gums would be just as sore if you were chewing on the binkie the entire time too.
I don't really think suckers are a good idea, as they're hard. they're more to suck on, than to chew.
and why does pacifiers and brightly coloured beads have to go along with a drug?
and to those complaining about a mouthguard having to take it out to talk. you'd have to take the pacifier out of your mouth to talk also, so thats not a good excuse either.
and eetard, I don't think anyone here is saying using a pacifier is gay. just silly looking for an adult to have a childs toy in your mouth. and I don't know about you, but I don't move my TEETH around, they're pretty set in their spots.
Well to be fair to some pacifier users, when I use a pacifier I don't chew on it like gum. It's like something I can rest my jaw on which you can't do with gum, you have to be constantly chewing on it.
But for those who do chew on it, it does look really unpleasing compared to chewing on a piece of gum. Whenever I had an urge to chew on my pacifier, I would always remember that one guy in the smoking area who would hold his pacifier with both his hands gnawing on it with one side of his mouth.
Also, you can hide pacifiers with bandannas if people are that self conscious about em.
