Pacifiers.

excuse me? a mouthguard is. they're actually MADE to keep you from breaking teeth.

Maybe, but how convenient is a mouthguard really? U cant talk as good with one in and if you have to take it out it's got big slime trails comming from it :( and i can't see it looking any good on a necklace... ew

It's really too bad that people get pissed off about what others are doing with thier own bodies, i could care less about how anyone looks because i'm not the one deciding what "normal" behavior is. It's just like someone giving you shit about your doc because in their opinion it's just "ridiculous". Learn acceptence and life will be much more enjoyable i promise.

Yet lots of people still use them and will continue to do so, i can only speak from one aspect tho because when i go to a rave everyone i'm around is either rolling or tripping

i bet you suck on 1 dont ya brandon

Yes actually i've use one a few times and fortuently i'm not too overly self concious to admit it. I've also used gum which worked ok for a temporary fix but my jaw was aching in the morning. Mostly i've used nothing which can result in a torn up mouth or chipped tooth. A mouthguard is a reasonable idea but they just dont seem flashy enough, unless u get the flashing ones which look neat. Btw if your not here to be conductive then your here for your own entertainment at other peoples expense. it's not working

yeh ill admit im still on this thread for my own entertainment, n if your ending up with chipped teeth and a torn up mouth i think u need to settle down lol. personally i dont even use gum or anything and ive never ended up with any of these problems, try clenching your jaws together not lettin it swing around like a madman

I think pacifiers look silly, but if people like them than so be it. I've seen people with other baby teething toys too. I personally can't chew gum since I end up gnawing on it all night and my jaw will get more sore than if I went without.

What I've found that works pretty well is just being mindful of your jaw. Take a break every so often and stretch it and get a friend to message it. My friends and I usually watch out for each other grinding or clenching too.

Ill admit that ill probably still roll with nothing, but one of my more recent solutions is just bring some suckers along with you. They might get epensive though if your constantly chewing them up, but from my experience wen u suck on stuff while rolling (no homo) it releives the clenching.

how convenient is a baby binkie? the same. you can't talk with a fuckin' baby binkie in your mouth either. and you should be able to take it out without slobbering all over the place. and why would it need to go on a necklace? if you're using it, it should be in your mouth.

but to all the people saying that their jaws hurt after chewing gum, how is chewing on a binkie any different? you're still chewing just as hard.

Hey- pacifiers are the one thing actually designed to protect your teeth that people put in their mouths whole rolling, so whats so bad about them? =) Sure, it may not be an ultra sophisticated look, but I don't think rolling is about "looking cool" or concerning yourself with others opinions too much...

I've never actually used a pacifier, I've been a gum chewer- I find I always have a tooth ache after, so next time I may get a pacifier and be a big baby.

depends on the size of your tongue =D

tootsie pops are nasty tho

blow pops on the other hand (minus the nasty gum) were pretty good. saved me from chewin my face off last night

Honestly this thread is dumb. Who cares about what people use. Im a guy and I love using binkies because the rubber is really fun to chew on especially if it has textured bumps. The rubber of the binkie also feels really good while your rolling. Plus its more fitting to use in the raver scene. I like chewing on gum but not as much as binkies because my mouth usually gets so hot the gum eventuallly melts and just causes a mess. Mouth guards sound like a good idea to protect your teeth but it really doesnt sound like its that much fun to use as you cant really move your teeth around nor can you really talk and have to constantly take it out as you usually talk a lot when you roll. Chewing on a binkie is not gay at all, I think its the best way to go.

I don't think it's dumb- getting idea of things that are helpful and safe to gnaw on is in part harm reduction. I make a point to avoid eating candy because of all the sugar.

pacifiers are the one thing

no, I believe we came up with using a mouthguard aswell. so, a pacifier is not the ONE thing.

and to those saying they have sore jaws from chewing gum, you gums would be just as sore if you were chewing on the binkie the entire time too.

I don't really think suckers are a good idea, as they're hard. they're more to suck on, than to chew.

and why does pacifiers and brightly coloured beads have to go along with a drug?

and to those complaining about a mouthguard having to take it out to talk. you'd have to take the pacifier out of your mouth to talk also, so thats not a good excuse either.

and eetard, I don't think anyone here is saying using a pacifier is gay. just silly looking for an adult to have a childs toy in your mouth. and I don't know about you, but I don't move my TEETH around, they're pretty set in their spots.
