PA, Philly - 10.08.04 - 10.10.04 - Whistle 4 @ Shampoo *REVIEW*

Just so everyone knows I recieved an email from IMRI 5 days ago as part of a DiscoBotz Mailing list.... Just realized that there is info on Whistle 4 in it today and as of 5 days ago.......

the last line on the mailing says this.....

Tickets: $25 in advance $30 at the door

So is 5 days good enough of an update??????????? especialy if in an email???
 
Does anyone have a flier??? That guy that I talked to via Buzzboard from Local 13 said it says $35 before and $40 after on the flier. And he said the outlets (like 611) don't even have tickets yet.

Oh I'm so confused :( We definitely have to get our tickets early though, cause since the venue is so small it's likely to sell out. We can roadtrip into Philly and go to 611 to buy tickets to avoid service charges!!!! I know you don't mind an excuse to go to Philly ;)

And if it's only $25 then that kicks ass!!!!!!

oh and yes Squeaks, 5 days ago is good enough for an update ;)

I wonder how we can clear up all this confusion and ASAP! I mean I want to go either way but the price is an important factor regardless :p
 
611 i keep forgetting since 612 closed- that was where i always went (yay used records)
and come on 611 has always basically been a local 13 outlet anyway
granted you get the reflective crew and wiggles in there but comeon

The promoter from Local 13 that I talked to said that the ticket outlets do not have tickets yet. It is pretty far away though still. Plus, if apparently there is some dispute over price :\

hmmmmmm why dont people go ape shit like this over our presales? lol....
one of our dj's is spinning at whistle and as far as i was told its 25adv/30 at door but i dunno.....also check out our 911 tribute party there is philly talent from local 13 on it as well as good dj's a nice amusement park and a chance to say a big Fa-q to terrorism and donations are made to FDNY widows :D and our presales are 22....I know how much our tickets are hahhahaa8(
 
1- better lineup
2- more well known production group
3- better location, city-wise
4- most importantly, its whistle, its nostalgic for a lot of people. the last one was 4 years ago.
 
lol thats funny....thats ones opionion about the line up.....its a campout....and in an amusement park lol I think people should go to both...
 
thats because youre throwing the party. maybe you should stop promoting it in other threads :p
 
I will tell ya what Jay you go to this then I have no excuse not to go to a Tool concert(if they of course are in an area we both can access easily) Hell I can even get Frostyangel to go with me!
 
I don't care if it is held at Shampoo... This for me made me "Squeaks" so I am going without a doubt............ I know it's still very early but would still like to see who really wants to/ is going to the party as of now!

Post if you think you are above 70% sure or maybe for nostalgia purposes..... and if I have to drive to every persons house to kick thier nostaligic asses just to go I will... :)
